Honor’s 600 series may be getting a broader lineup than expected, and the latest clue points to three new models appearing in the EMVCo certification database. The names listed are Honor 600 Lite S, Honor 600s, and Honor 600 Elite.
The listing matters because certification entries often appear when a device is getting close to launch. In this case, the database reveals only a limited set of details, but it is still enough to confirm the model names, Android 16, and NFC support.
Two models share the same identity trail
According to The Tech Outlook, Honor 600 Lite S and Honor 600s are both listed under the same model number, MRK-NX1. They also carry the same registration number, HODC.V 21 0404.
That overlap is notable because MRK-NX1 had already been linked to the yet-to-be-announced Honor X7e Plus 5G. The same model number has also been associated with the already-launched Honor 600 Smart 5G.
This strengthens the possibility that Honor 600 Lite S and Honor 600s are not entirely new devices from the ground up. They may instead be rebranded versions of another Honor phone, with hardware that is largely identical.
If that turns out to be accurate, Honor would be using a familiar strategy: expanding the same hardware into different names for different markets or segments. It is a common approach for vendors that want to broaden a portfolio without redesigning a product from scratch.
Honor 600 Elite follows a separate path
