iPad Prices Split in Indonesia, Some Air Models Drop While Others Rise

Author: Qoo Media

Apple’s latest iPad pricing shift has created an unusual split in Indonesia. Some models have become more expensive, some have moved down, and a few have stayed unchanged, making the local market far less straightforward than the global price update suggests.

The adjustment comes after Apple said component costs have risen sharply, especially for memory and storage. Tim Cook also described the pressure as unsustainable, with higher DRAM and NAND Flash prices, supply chain disruption after trade tensions, and a stronger US dollar all adding to the burden.

Why the price changes matter now

On the global stage, Apple has already pushed iPad prices higher by about USD 200–300, or roughly Rp3.6–5.4 million. But Indonesian buyers are seeing a different pattern because distributors are applying their own pricing strategies.

That means shoppers who are tracking the iPad lineup need to look at each model separately. The biggest surprise is that the Air family does not move in only one direction, while entry-level and mini models are seeing clearer increases.

Model Variant New Price Change
iPad Gen 11 128 GB Wi-Fi Rp7.199.000 Up Rp1.2 million
iPad Gen 11 256 GB Wi-Fi Rp9.199.000 Up Rp700,000
iPad Gen 11 512 GB Wi-Fi Rp13.199.000 Up Rp700,000
iPad Gen 11 128 GB Wi-Fi + Cellular Rp10.199.000 Up Rp700,000
iPad mini 7 128 GB Wi-Fi Rp9.899.000 Up Rp400,000
iPad mini 7 256 GB Wi-Fi Rp11.599.000 Up Rp100,000
iPad mini 7 512 GB Wi-Fi Rp15.599.000 Up Rp100,000

Where the Air lineup breaks the pattern

The sharpest contrast appears in the iPad Air M3 line, which is now lower in price in Indonesia. The 11-inch 512 GB Wi-Fi variant is down to Rp16.649.000, while the 11-inch 1 TB Wi-Fi version has fallen to Rp21.149.000.

At 13 inches, the 128 GB Wi-Fi model is now Rp14.149.000, and the 128 GB Cellular variant sits at Rp18.099.000. The drop is likely tied to the transition toward the newer M4 model, which has already entered the market.

Model Variant Price Status
iPad Air M3 11-inch 512 GB Wi-Fi Rp16.649.000 Down Rp1.35 million
iPad Air M3 11-inch 1 TB Wi-Fi Rp21.149.000 Down Rp1.35 million
iPad Air M3 13-inch 128 GB Wi-Fi Rp14.149.000 Down
iPad Air M3 13-inch 128 GB Cellular Rp18.099.000 Down

By contrast, the iPad Air M4 line remains stable. Apple’s newer Air models, introduced in May 2026, keep their listed prices without movement across both Wi-Fi and cellular options.

The 11-inch 128 GB Wi-Fi model is listed at Rp16.499.000, while the 11-inch 256 GB Wi-Fi version sits at Rp18.699.000. On the larger size, the 13-inch 512 GB Wi-Fi model is priced at Rp22.499.000.

iPad Air M4 11-inch 256 GB Wi-Fi Rp18.699.000 Stable
iPad Air M4 13-inch 512 GB Wi-Fi Rp22.499.000 Stable
iPad Air M4 13-inch 128 GB Cellular Rp19.699.000 Stable

Pro models still leave room for buyers

The iPad Pro M5 line also shows only a mild adjustment in some older variants. The 11-inch 256 GB Standard Glass model is now Rp19.999.000, while the 13-inch 256 GB Standard Glass model is priced at Rp26.499.000.

More expensive Nano Texture Glass versions remain steady in the Rp33–45 million range. For buyers, that keeps older units, transition models, and distributor promotions in play as practical alternatives.

Apple’s wider pricing update is not limited to iPad. Other products, including MacBook, iMac, HomePod, Apple TV, and Vision Pro, have also moved higher, with the Mac Studio M3 Ultra climbing from USD 3,999 to USD 5,299.

HomePod mini now costs USD 129 instead of USD 99, while Vision Pro has risen from USD 3,499 to USD 3,699. In Indonesia, the result is a market where the same brand is pulling prices in different directions depending on the model and the transition stage.
