iQOO Z11i Packs a 6,500mAh Battery, While Budget Rivals Still Play It Safe

iQOO has expanded its Z11 lineup in China with the Z11i, a midrange phone built around endurance rather than aggressive charging or flashy cameras. Its biggest draw is a 6,500mAh battery, paired with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 and 5G support.

The device is already on sale in China, and its starting price of CNY 1,299 places it in a crowded budget segment where battery life can be a decisive advantage. iQOO is positioning the phone for users who want long runtime, a 120Hz display, and practical everyday performance.

Three memory options, three price points

The iQOO Z11i comes in three configurations. The 6GB + 128GB model costs CNY 1,299, the 8GB + 128GB version is priced at CNY 1,499, and the top-end 8GB + 256GB variant sells for CNY 1,699.

Variant Memory Price
Base model 6GB + 128GB CNY 1,299
Mid variant 8GB + 128GB CNY 1,499
Top variant 8GB + 256GB CNY 1,699

It is sold through Vivo’s online store in China and offered in Desert Gold, Mo Ying, and Qingfeng color options. The immediate availability gives the phone a straightforward launch profile, with no waiting period for pre-orders.

Battery life takes priority over fast charging

The 6,500mAh battery is the headline feature, and iQOO says it can deliver up to 25.3 days of standby time or up to 21 hours of talk time on a single charge. That puts the phone squarely in the category of devices designed for long use between plug-ins.

Charging, however, is modest at 15W through USB Type-C. The slower charging rate matches the phone’s practical focus, even if it will not appeal to buyers looking for rapid top-ups.

120Hz display, but with a simple HD+ panel

Up front, the Z11i uses a 6.74-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 83 percent NTSC color coverage, and 16.7 million colors.

iQOO claims a 90.40 percent screen-to-body ratio. The front camera sits in a waterdrop notch, while the rear adopts a square camera module that houses a single main sensor and an LED flash.

Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 handles the workload

Performance is led by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 octa-core chip built on a 4nm process. The chipset uses six efficiency cores clocked at 1.95GHz and two performance cores reaching 2.2GHz.

Graphics are handled by the Adreno 613 GPU, while memory options go up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The use of UFS 3.1 should give the device faster data access than older storage standards.

The phone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and supports dual SIM use. Security features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock.

Basic cameras, broad connectivity, and IP65 protection

Photography is kept simple with a 13MP rear camera featuring an f/2.2 aperture, autofocus, digital zoom up to 10x, and 1080p video recording. The front camera is a 5MP unit with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calls.

Connectivity includes 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB Type-C. Navigation support covers GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS, while the phone also includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass, and an IR blaster.

iQOO says the Z11i carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance and has also received SGS 5-Star certification for drop and impact resistance. The phone measures 167.40 x 77.10 x 8.39 mm and weighs about 209 grams, which reflects the size of its large battery.
