Honda has brought the City Facelift into the ASEAN market, and Thailand is the first country to receive it. The update stands out because the changes are not limited to styling, but also touch key areas that shape the car’s appeal in daily use.
The model’s regional debut in Thailand reinforces the country’s role as Honda’s early launch market for the City Facelift. A similar update had already been shown in India, where the changes covered the exterior, interior, and safety equipment.
Two body styles remain available
In Thailand, the refreshed City is offered in both Sedan and Hatchback forms. That gives buyers a clearer choice between a traditional three-box layout and a more compact hatchback profile.
The dual-body strategy also broadens the model’s reach across different usage needs. It allows Honda to keep the City relevant for drivers who want either everyday practicality or a different visual character.
Front-end changes make the biggest impact
The most visible update appears at the front, where Honda has fitted slimmer LED headlamps, new daytime running lights, and a minimalist grille. Mid and higher variants also gain a horizontal light bar, which gives the car a cleaner and more modern appearance.
The front bumper has also been revised to refresh the overall look. On the standard variant, the air intake uses a downward-curving shape that gives the car a simpler character.
The RS version receives a more aggressive treatment. Honda gives it a sportier bumper design and adds aerodynamic fins to strengthen its performance-inspired look.
The rear and wheels also get attention
Honda did not stop with the front fascia, as the rear section was updated too. The bumper and tail lamps have been redesigned to create a more contemporary finish.
The wheel options range from 15 to 16 inches, and the turbine-style design adds more visual movement to the car’s side profile. That detail helps the City Facelift look more dynamic than the version it replaces.
