Lenovo’s Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition challenges a long-standing laptop trade-off. At around 975 grams, it stays remarkably light, yet it still delivers enough graphics performance to run AAA games through Intel Arc B390 integrated graphics.
That combination makes the device stand out beyond ordinary ultrabooks. It is aimed not only at office users and content creators, but also at buyers who want a highly mobile laptop without giving up too much gaming capability.
Built for daily mobility
The Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition comes in a Seashell finish with a matte cream-white look. The design gives it a clean, premium appearance while remaining practical to carry throughout the day.
Its 975-gram weight places it among the lightest premium laptops in its class. For users who move between the office, meeting rooms, cafés, and public transport, that weight difference is immediately meaningful.
Lenovo also places the power button on the side of the chassis to keep the keyboard area cleaner. The machine includes a physical privacy shutter for the webcam, several USB-C Thunderbolt ports, and a retail package that already adds a USB adapter, HDMI adapter, wireless mouse, and charger.
That bundled accessory set matters because the laptop depends on USB-C connectivity. Users can still connect external devices without immediately buying extra accessories.
OLED display is a major selling point
The display is one of the strongest parts of the device. Lenovo uses a 14-inch PureSight Pro OLED panel with a 2,880 x 1,800 resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of up to 1,100 nits, and touchscreen support.
According to KompasTekno’s testing, the panel delivers sharp colors and strong contrast for typing, photo editing, and media consumption. For creators, that level of color quality can help improve editing accuracy and keep the final output closer to the original image.
The 120 Hz refresh rate also makes everyday navigation feel smoother. Touch input adds another practical option when users want faster interaction without relying fully on the touchpad.
Fast enough for work and multitasking
The tested unit uses an Intel Core Ultra X9 388H, while the official Indonesia version uses the Intel Core Ultra X9 378H. The difference between the two is limited to a slightly higher maximum clock speed on the Singapore model.
It is paired with 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, a 1 TB PCIe Gen4 SSD, Intel Arc B390 graphics, and Windows 11 Pro. In daily use, the system feels responsive for fast boot times, many browser tabs, video calls, document processing, and light photo editing.
That setup reinforces how modern premium laptops are no longer judged by slimness alone. They also need to handle professional multitasking smoothly, and this model is built with that expectation in mind.

Intel Arc B390 can handle AAA gaming
The most surprising part is the graphics performance. Even without a discrete GPU such as an Nvidia GeForce RTX or AMD Radeon chip, the Intel Arc B390 still manages to run a range of AAA games well enough to be playable.
Forza Horizon 6 reaches around 50–60 FPS at 1,920 x 1,200 resolution with Low graphics settings. Hogwarts Legacy runs at roughly 45–55 FPS at the native 2.8K resolution with Low settings.
Death Stranding performs at around 40–50 FPS on High settings at Full HD resolution. For competitive titles, Dota 2 reaches about 55–65 FPS at native resolution on High, while Counter-Strike 2 sits in the 40–50 FPS range.
KompasTekno also tested Pragmata, one of Capcom’s newer games. It was the heaviest title in the test, but it remained playable at around 25–30 FPS on High settings.
Most of the testing was done above Full HD resolution. That means users still have room to improve frame rates further by lowering in-game resolution.
Quiet cooling and solid battery life
The cooling system also receives a positive note. During gaming, fan noise stays relatively unobtrusive, which makes the laptop more comfortable to use in offices or cafés.
The chassis does become slightly warm during longer gaming sessions, but that remains reasonable for a machine this thin. On the battery side, productivity use such as typing, browsing, social media, online meetings, and light photo editing can last about 8–9 hours of screen-on time.
If sleep mode is included, total usage can stretch to around 15 hours. Gaming changes the picture quickly, with AAA play reducing endurance to about 1.5 to 2 hours, which is still typical once CPU and GPU load rises sharply.
In the end, the Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition shows that an ultra-thin laptop no longer has to feel heavily compromised. It is better understood as a premium productivity machine with an unexpected gaming bonus for users who want one device for work during the day and play later on.
