iPhone Prices Jump in Indonesia, Some Models Now Cost More Than Launch

Apple’s iPhone pricing in Indonesia has moved sharply higher in early July, with increases appearing across several generations at once. The changes affect the iPhone 15 series, iPhone 16 series, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 series.

The clearest surprise is that several models are now selling above their original launch prices in Indonesia. That shift is especially visible in higher-storage variants, where the gap between earlier pricing and current listings has widened significantly.

Models that saw the sharpest increases

Some of the biggest jumps are concentrated in specific capacities rather than across every variant evenly. The iPhone 15 512 GB, for example, is now listed at Rp 21.499.000 after previously being recorded at Rp 14.454.020.

Another notable change is the iPhone 16e 128 GB, which now sells for Rp 12.749.000. That is above its late-June price of Rp 10.749.000 and also higher than its Indonesian launch price of Rp 12.499.000.

iPhone Air and iPhone 17 series also move up

All iPhone Air variants have also become more expensive. The 256 GB model now costs Rp 21.249.000, or around Rp 4.2 million more than before.

The iPhone 17 line shows a broad rise as well, including the Pro and Pro Max models. The largest increases are reported for the iPhone 17 Pro Max 256 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB variants, each of which rose by about Rp 1.050.000.

The iPhone 17 Pro gained roughly Rp 1 million across all memory options, while the standard iPhone 17 increased by around Rp 900.000. Prices for the iPhone 17 Pro Max now reach Rp 45.249.000 for the 2 TB version.

What buyers should pay attention to

The pricing change is not limited to the newest lineup, which makes it more relevant for buyers considering older models as well. Even the iPhone 15 is now pulled upward, especially in its larger storage options.

Official reseller prices can still vary from one distributor to another. Stock availability, sales policy, and active promotions may all affect the final amount shown to shoppers.

That is why it matters to check whether a listed price is the normal rate or a discounted one. Prices can also change at any time depending on the sales policy in place.

Current price range in Indonesia

Based on the latest listings from authorized Apple resellers in Indonesia, the current range stretches from Rp 12.749.000 for the iPhone 16e 128 GB to Rp 45.249.000 for the iPhone 17 Pro Max 2 TB. The list shows that the increase has reached both older models and the most premium configurations.

For shoppers tracking timing rather than just model choice, the message is straightforward: prices in Indonesia have moved up broadly, and some variants are now more expensive than when they first arrived in the market.
