A new Xiaomi device has surfaced on Geekbench, and the listing is fueling fresh speculation around the Redmi Note 17. The model number 2607DRA18C has not been officially confirmed, but it is now closely tied to the next Redmi Note generation.

The most notable detail is the hardware combination revealed in the benchmark database. The device appears with a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and Android 16, which points to a midrange phone that is being prepared with current software and a sizeable memory configuration.

Benchmark Results Offer the First Clues

Geekbench shows a single-core score of 1,027 and a multi-core score of 3,002 for the device. Those numbers are only an early sign of performance, but they help outline where the handset may stand before launch.

Detail Reported Result
Geekbench Model 2607DRA18C
Chipset Snapdragon 6s Gen 4
RAM 12GB
Operating System Android 16
Single-Core Score 1,027
Multi-Core Score 3,002

The software side is also worth noting. With Android 16 listed, the phone is widely expected to run Xiaomi’s HyperOS when it eventually reaches the market.

China and India Variants Point to a Wider Launch

Another model, 2607DRA18I, has reportedly cleared BIS certification for India. The trailing “I” suggests an Indian variant, while the “C” on the Geekbench listing points to a China version.

That pattern strengthens the belief that Xiaomi is preparing the Redmi Note 17 family for more than one market. It remains unclear whether the China and India versions will share the same specifications.

www.gsmarena.com notes that the China Redmi Note 17 series is scheduled for an official debut on 14 July. With that date approaching, the current leak trail is starting to look more meaningful.

For now, the device remains unofficial, and Xiaomi has not confirmed the Redmi Note 17 name. Even so, the combination of Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, 12GB RAM, Android 16, and multiple regional model numbers makes this one of the more concrete early signs of the upcoming series.
