Realme is preparing a notable addition to its Narzo lineup with the Narzo 100x 5G, which is set to launch in India on 15 July. The phone stands out immediately because it pairs an 8,000mAh battery with a 144Hz display and AI-powered features, a combination aimed squarely at everyday users who want endurance and speed in one device.
The device has already been revealed in near-full detail through official promotional material from Realme and Amazon India. That early disclosure points to a midrange phone designed not only for long battery life, but also for smoother visual performance, stronger cooling, and practical tools for daily use.
Battery Life Takes Center Stage
The headline feature is the 8,000mAh battery, a capacity that sits well above what many phones in the same price segment usually offer. Realme says the battery can last up to three days under normal use.
Despite the large cell inside, the body remains relatively slim at around 8.8 mm thick. Realme has also added 45W fast charging, bypass charging for gaming sessions while plugged in, and reverse charging for powering other devices.
| Feature | Detail |
|---|---|
| Battery | 8,000mAh |
| Charging | 45W fast charging |
| Extra power features | Bypass charging, reverse charging |
| Body thickness | About 8.8 mm |
The bypass charging function is meant to send power directly to the system during gameplay, helping keep temperatures more stable. Reverse charging adds a useful bonus, turning the phone into a backup power source when other gadgets need a quick refill.
144Hz Screen and Dimensity 6300 Power
On the front, the Narzo 100x 5G uses a 6.67-inch display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. That should translate into smoother scrolling, more fluid animation, and a better experience in games and video playback.
The panel also reaches a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, which should improve outdoor visibility when the phone is used in bright daylight. Under the hood, Realme has chosen the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 built on a 6-nanometer process and supporting 5G connectivity.
Performance support is further strengthened by up to 256GB of internal storage and dynamic RAM expansion up to 14GB. Realme also includes a 5,300 mm² vapor chamber, a cooling system intended to help maintain stable performance under heavier workloads.
| Specification | Detail |
|---|---|
| Display size | 6.67 inches |
| Refresh rate | 144Hz |
| Peak brightness | 1,200 nits |
| Chipset | MediaTek Dimensity 6300 |
AI Tools, Camera Hardware, and a Distinctive Design
Photography is led by a 50MP main camera, although Realme has not yet detailed the full supporting camera setup. The main sensor is positioned for everyday shots such as landscapes, food, and family moments.
Software is another important part of the package, with realme UI 7.0 bringing a set of AI-based features. Google Gemini integration is one of the key additions, including Gemini Live, automatic note summaries, and screen-sharing assistance.
Realme is also offering AI-assisted photo editing tools such as AI Eraser, which removes distracting objects from images. Another feature helps improve portrait lighting so photos appear more polished.
Design-wise, the back panel uses a transparent concept that gives the phone a more futuristic look. It is joined by Pulse Light, a customizable notification system with nine colors and five speed settings that can signal calls, charging status, and even music synchronization in apps like Spotify.
For durability, the Narzo 100x 5G carries IP65 protection against dust and splashes, along with MIL-STD-810H certification. Realme says the device has been tested for toughness, including drops from heights of up to 1.8 meters.
The phone will be offered in Midnight Black and Flash Orange, then sold through Realme’s official site and Amazon India after its launch on 15 July. Realme has not announced the official price yet, leaving the battery-focused midrange model to arrive with several key specifications already in view.
