Sony Indonesia has expanded its Bravia lineup with three new TVs that put different buyers in focus at once. The most attention goes to True RGB, a display approach that promises more accurate color, higher brightness, and better contrast than conventional LED TVs.
The new family consists of Bravia 9 II, Bravia 7 II, and Bravia 3 II. Beyond the panel upgrades, Sony is also pushing improvements in audio, picture processing, and entertainment features to make the viewing experience feel closer to a cinema setup.
True RGB as the main differentiator
True RGB is the headline feature on the Bravia 9 II and Bravia 7 II. Sony uses RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro, a system that independently controls red, green, and blue LEDs.
Unlike conventional Mini LED displays that rely on white backlighting, True RGB is designed to produce cleaner and more precise color output. Sony says the approach combines the advantages of RGB LED with Mini LED and OLED.
The result is richer color gradation, higher brightness, and reduced blooming around bright objects on screen.
Bravia 9 II targets the premium segment
Bravia 9 II sits at the top of the new lineup. It comes with RGB Triluminos Max and Luminance Booster Pro, which are meant to widen color volume while keeping brightness high without sacrificing accuracy.
Sony also adds Immersive Black Screen Pro to reduce glare and reflections. That helps keep black tones deep even in bright rooms.
For audio, Bravia 9 II uses Acoustic Multi-Audio+ with up-firing beam tweeters. The setup is designed to create a more realistic surround effect, and the model is available in 85 inch.
Bravia 7 II balances color and viewing flexibility
Bravia 7 II also brings True RGB through RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro. Sony positions it as a model that aims for accurate color reproduction while staying comfortable to watch from different angles.
To support that, the TV includes X-Wide Angle Pro so the image remains more consistent from varied viewing positions. On the audio side, it features full-range speakers, AI-based Voice Zoom 3, and 3D Surround Upscaling.
Bravia 7 II also supports My Cinema, Ambient Optimization, Studio Calibrated Mode, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, DTS, and IMAX Enhanced. The model is available in 50 to 98 inch sizes.
| Model | Size | Main Features |
|---|---|---|
| Bravia 9 II | 85 inch | RGB Triluminos Max, Luminance Booster Pro, Immersive Black Screen Pro, Acoustic Multi-Audio+ |
| Bravia 7 II | 50-98 inch | True RGB, X-Wide Angle Pro, Voice Zoom 3, 3D Surround Upscaling, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, DTS, IMAX Enhanced |
Bravia 3 II stretches to a much larger screen
For buyers looking for a bigger display at a more accessible price, Sony offers Bravia 3 II. The model now reaches up to 100 inches, making it one of the largest TVs in the Bravia lineup for Indonesia.
Sony has also replaced the previous X1 Processor with the XR Processor. The new chip is meant to optimize color, contrast, and image detail in real time.
Bravia 3 II supports refresh rates up to 120Hz, which makes it suitable for games, sports, and action films. PlayStation 5 users can also take advantage of several gaming features supported by the TV.
Sony says it also uses recycled materials in the TV body, internal components, and remote control as part of its sustainability commitment.
Bravia pricing in Indonesia
