Lava Virat V1 5G Reveals Its Design Early, and the 21 July Debut Now Feels Close

Lava has put the spotlight on its new Virat series before launch by revealing the design of the Lava Virat V1 5G and confirming its arrival on 21 July at 12 noon IST. The move gives the upcoming phone an early advantage in visibility, especially since the company has already shown the rear design and color options ahead of the debut.

The series will enter the Indian market with two models, the Lava Virat V1 5G and the Lava Virat V1 4G. Lava has also activated a dedicated microsite for the lineup on Flipkart, pointing to the e-commerce platform as the sales channel.

What Lava Has Already Shown

The company’s early reveal focuses on how closely the two phones are related, while still giving each model its own visual identity. Both devices use a flat rear panel and will be offered in Blue and Gold.

The 4G model features a square rear camera module with two lenses, plus a 13-megapixel main camera and an LED flash. Lava says the design is similar to the Lava Smart 4 Plus, which launched on 25 June at an introductory price of Rs. 9,999.

How the 5G Model Stands Apart

The Lava Virat V1 5G keeps the dual-camera setup and LED flash, but its rear pattern differs from the 4G version. That visual change is one of the few clear distinctions Lava has shown so far.

Aside from the rear design, the company has confirmed a familiar set of physical controls and ports on both phones. The right side carries the power button and volume keys, while the bottom edge includes a USB Type-C port, speaker grille, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and microphone hole.

The overall package suggests Lava is targeting users who still want a complete set of wired connectivity options. With the launch set for 21 July and more details already disclosed, the Virat lineup is now taking shape as a practical addition to Lava’s India portfolio.
