The most important thing is not to focus only on lumens. A 1080p laser projector often looks sharper in a dark room than a cheap 4K model with weak light, especially once fan noise and power needs are also taken into account.
For outdoor use, extra costs such as a power bank or projection screen still need to be added on top of the device price. In this category, ease of use often ends up deciding the purchase more than the spec sheet does.
