Vivo X Fold 6’s Global Push Gets Clearer, Indonesia Listing Signals The Wait Is Almost Over

Author: Qoo Media

Vivo X Fold 6 is looking increasingly ready to leave China, and its latest appearance in Indonesia’s SDPPI certification database is the clearest sign yet. The foldable has already surfaced in Europe’s EEC certification records as well, suggesting that Vivo is lining up a broader rollout.

The model in question is V2559, a listing first highlighted by Anvin (@ZionsAnvin) and reported by Gadgets 360. While the certification documents do not reveal new hardware details, they add weight to the view that a global launch is moving closer.

Why the certification trail matters

Certification appearances often come before a phone reaches shelves in new markets. In this case, the Indonesia and Europe listings point to a device that is no longer confined to its home market for much longer.

Vivo X Fold 6 is still exclusive to China right now, but the paper trail suggests that the international version is already being prepared. That makes the V2559 listing particularly important for buyers waiting outside China.

What Vivo X Fold 6 already offers in China

In China, Vivo launched the X Fold 6 in June with a starting price of CNY 7,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The phone is offered in Blue Hole, Polar Night, and Salt Lake colorways, which are English translations of the Chinese names.

It runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 Fold on top, and it carries an 8.02-inch foldable AMOLED display plus a 6.51-inch cover screen. That combination keeps it firmly in premium foldable territory.

High-end hardware and imaging

Durability is a major part of the package, with IP58 and IP59 protection for dust and water resistance. Vivo also equips the phone with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 Super chipset, up to 16GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

The camera setup is another headline feature. Vivo uses a rear triple-camera system tuned by Zeiss, led by a 200-megapixel main sensor and joined by two 50-megapixel sensors.

For selfies, the phone includes two 20-megapixel front cameras. Power comes from a 7,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.

What comes next for international buyers

Rumors have previously pointed to an India launch in October, with a price above Rs. 1,05,000. If that schedule holds, Vivo X Fold 6 will enter the premium foldable race with a large display, a substantial battery, and a camera setup that is unusually aggressive for a foldable device.

For now, the certification trail is the strongest evidence that the international version is nearing readiness. With Indonesia and Europe both already showing the V2559 model, the global debut appears to be a matter of timing rather than possibility.
