Samsung has pushed One UI 9.0 one step closer to a stable release with Beta 4 for the Galaxy S26 series. The update does not introduce major surprises, but it is clearly focused on fixing the issues that remained in earlier builds.
The latest rollout also signals that the beta program is now in a more mature phase. According to www.gizmochina.com, distribution began in India before quickly expanding to the UK, Poland, Germany, and Korea, while the United States is still waiting its turn.
Security patch and build details
This new build is identified by firmware ending in ZZG4 and comes in at around 1.25GB. Alongside bug fixes, Samsung has also included the July 2026 security patch to strengthen device protection against recent risks.
While the update centers on stability, the fixes are specific and practical. Samsung says the changes address the lock screen, Quick Panel, Bluetooth connectivity, and UI performance during gaming.

Users already enrolled in the beta on Galaxy S26 can check the update through Settings > Software updates > Download and install. After the package finishes downloading, the next step is simply tapping Install now.
The beta program is still not the end of One UI 9.0 development. Samsung is expected to release a few more beta versions before the stable build arrives later this year.
What stands out is that the stable version of One UI 9.0 has already been confirmed to debut first on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8 at the end of this month. A few weeks later, older Galaxy devices are expected to start receiving the update as well.
