Honor has introduced the Honor X7e Plus 5G in Qatar with an unusually large 8,100mAh typical battery for a mid-range 5G phone. The device combines that capacity with IP68, IP69, and IP69K protection ratings, placing durability at the center of its proposition.
The phone is also backed by SGS Premium Drop and Crush Resistance certification. Honor says it is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from minus 30 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees Celsius.
Its measured battery capacity is listed at 7,900mAh, and charging is supported by 45W SuperCharge. Honor further states, based on internal testing, that the battery can retain more than 80 percent of its capacity after years of regular use.

The Honor X7e Plus 5G is available in Qatar in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB configurations. Both versions are offered in Desert Gold, Velvet Black, and Meteor Silver.
The device has also been introduced in Oman. Honor has not confirmed which additional markets will receive the handset.
Dedicated AI shortcut
A dedicated AI button on the side of the phone is one of its distinguishing hardware features. Pressing and holding it provides access to AI Memory, Circle to Search, AI Eraser, AI Summary, and Smart Recommendations.
The physical button is intended to make selected AI functions easier to reach without searching through the interface. The phone runs Android 16 with MagicOS 10.
Honor uses a 6.87-inch TFT LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 1,592 x 720 pixels. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of up to 1,020 nits, Dynamic Dimming, and Eye Comfort.
