Garmin CIRQA removes the display from the wristband and promises up to 10 days of battery life on a single charge. Its health statistics, settings, and activity records are instead handled through the Garmin Connect phone app.
The device is aimed at people who want continuous body tracking without another digital screen on their wrist. Garmin is scheduled to begin selling CIRQA on July 24 for US$199.99.
A phone is essential for route tracking
CIRQA can automatically recognize basic movement such as walking and running. Users can review and correct those records in Garmin Connect, allowing the system to improve its activity classification over time.
The band supports 80 activities that can be selected manually, with recording started through a single physical button on the side. It does not include built-in GPS, so outdoor running and cycling routes and distances require Connected GPS from a paired phone.
Garmin also includes VO2 Max, Training Readiness, and Recovery Time among its fitness measurements. A wheelchair mode counts pushes rather than steps.
Health tracking remains extensive
Despite having no display, CIRQA includes continuous heart-rate monitoring, a Pulse Ox sensor for blood oxygen measurement, and an accelerometer. GizmoChina reports that the device also records heart rate variability, respiratory rate, skin temperature, and stress levels.
Sleep monitoring covers sleep stages as well as naps. Its overnight skin-temperature sensor can provide retrospective ovulation estimates for women’s health tracking.
The information can also be synchronized with Natural Cycles, an app that has received FDA clearance. A separate subscription is still required to use Natural Cycles.

Core functions do not require a monthly fee
Garmin positions the core health and fitness functions as available without a mandatory subscription. This separates the band from health trackers that rely more heavily on recurring service fees.
Some software features remain part of the optional Garmin Connect+ plan. These include breathing exercise guidance, live activity metrics, and Garmin Coach training plans.
Made for day and night wear
The 14 mm quick-release fabric strap is designed for all-day use, including sleep. CIRQA can be worn on the wrist or upper arm, giving users a choice of placement during exercise and daily activity.
Its compact case and light weight make it less visually prominent than a conventional smartwatch. Garmin will offer S-M and L-XL sizes in Black, Captain Blue, French Gray, and Mauve.
The lack of a screen is central to CIRQA’s design, but it also shifts most interaction to the paired phone. For users who value a discreet band and longer battery life over standalone GPS and on-device readouts, that trade-off defines the product.
