The same model has also appeared at Singapore’s IMDA, pointing to preparations across more than one regional market. IMDA lists NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 5G support, but does not disclose the versions of the wireless standards.
The filings are significant because they provide the clearest confirmation yet that Poco is preparing a standard X8 model. The wider lineup has already included the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max, while the regular model had remained speculative.

The reported display is a 6.83-inch OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also said to offer 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and peak brightness of up to 3,200 nits.
A claimed 9,000mAh battery is among the most notable possible features. The device is also expected to support 67W fast charging, though both claims remain outside the information published by NBTC and IMDA.
Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 has been named as the possible chipset, paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. These performance details should be treated as unconfirmed until Poco releases official specifications.
Camera and Durability Claims Still Need Confirmation
The reported camera system includes a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP front camera. None of those camera specifications appears in the two regulatory records.
Other reported features include an in-display fingerprint sensor and dual speakers. The handset is also said to potentially carry IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K protection ratings.
Those protection claims could make durability a standout aspect of Poco X8 if they are ultimately adopted. For now, the confirmed picture is narrower: the model name, its 5G capability, and its listed connectivity options.
