Huawei has introduced the MatePad Pro Max in Indonesia, positioning its 13.2-inch display inside a body measuring just 4.7 mm at its thinnest point. The tablet weighs 509 grams and is aimed at users who want a large workspace without the bulk usually associated with this screen size.
The device carries a 13.2-inch OLED panel with a 3,000 x 2,000-pixel, or 3K, resolution. It supports refresh rates up to 144Hz, peak brightness up to 1,600 nits, and a screen-to-body ratio of up to 94%.
A large display in a slim metal frame
Huawei uses aerospace-grade aluminum and a metal frame for the MatePad Pro Max. The company describes it as the thinnest and lightest 13-inch flagship tablet on the market.
It is also described as the first tablet to receive TÜV Rheinland Ultra-Thin Bend Resistance certification. Huawei says its bend resistance is 60% higher than that of the previous year’s Huawei MatePad Pro.
The display is surrounded by 3.5 mm bezels to maximize usable viewing space. Huawei also offers a PaperMatte Display version designed to reduce glare and improve viewing comfort.

Multitasking and creative tools
The MatePad Pro Max runs HarmonyOS 4.3 and includes the Live-Multitask feature. The feature allows up to three applications to remain open at the same time on the expansive display.
Huawei provides WPS Office AI support for document work, which can be paired with the Huawei Glide Keyboard. GoPaint and Huawei Notes are also available for drawing and note-taking with the Huawei M-Pencil Pro.
Its Kirin T93 Pro chipset is paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. The tablet uses a dual-layer VC cooling structure and innovative thermal materials.
According to information published by inet.detik.com, the cooling system is claimed to improve heat dissipation capability by up to 30%. That claim is relevant to the tablet’s focus on productivity and multimedia use on a large screen.
Battery, audio, and connectivity
The 10,400 mAh battery is claimed to support video playback for up to 14.5 hours. It supports 66W fast charging and 40W reverse charging for powering other devices.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 6.0, and USB Type-C 3.1. Huawei says Smart Antenna 2.0 can improve connections on weak Wi-Fi networks by up to 40%.
For media consumption, the tablet has six speakers with quad-driver bass units and four microphones. Its rear camera is rated at 50 MP with an LED flash, while the front camera is rated at 12 MP.
Indonesia pricing and availability
Huawei will sell the MatePad Pro Max through its official online and offline channels from July 22, 2026. It will be offered in Blue and Space Gray.

From July 22 through August 21, 2026, Huawei is offering bonuses valued at up to Rp 11.5 million. They include the M-Pencil Pro, a Bluetooth Mouse, a one-year WPS Office PC-level subscription, a one-year warranty extension, and two PaperMatte screen repairs within one year.
