The Pura X previously prompted reports that other brands could follow its design direction. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8 now represents a direct response, suggesting that wide-fold devices are gaining relevance in the foldable market.
Gizmochina also reported that Apple’s first foldable phone, provisionally referred to as the iPhone Ultra, is expected to use a similar design. That device is scheduled to launch in September, according to the report.
