The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra runs Android 17 with One UI 9 and uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor. It is offered with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage, supported by an expanded graphite cooling structure.
One UI 9 expands Galaxy AI features with Now Brief, Now Nudge, and Gemini Intelligence. Samsung says Gemini can carry out automated actions across more than 40 supported apps and services.
Gemini Notebook, previously called NotebookLM, is designed to bring notes, images, recordings, files, and documents into one workspace. The software also includes an AI Assistant Activity dashboard for viewing AI automations in one place, according to Gadgets360.
200MP Camera System
The rear camera array is led by a 200MP camera, alongside a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 10MP telephoto camera. Both the internal screen and cover screen carry 10MP cameras.
Samsung has added HDR support to the 200MP mode and macro photography to the ultra-wide camera. The phone also supports improved Nightography, video recording up to 8K at 30fps, the APV codec, and Cine LUT functionality.
Large Display, Slim Foldable Body
The device has an 8-inch AMOLED display inside and a 6.5-inch AMOLED cover screen. Both panels support variable refresh rates up to 120Hz, while the internal display reaches up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness and includes an anti-reflective layer.
