Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 gives its 4.1-inch cover display the same adaptive 120Hz refresh rate as its 6.9-inch main screen. The dual AMOLED setup is one of the device’s most notable upgrades as Samsung continues its compact clamshell foldable line.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset and comes with 12GB of RAM. It will be offered with either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.
India pricing and purchase offers
Samsung has priced the 12GB and 256GB model at Rs. 1,24,999 in India. The 12GB and 512GB version costs Rs. 1,44,999, while the base model had previously been announced at $1,200.

According to Gadgets360, buyers can choose a Rs. 5,000 upgrade bonus or instant bank and UPI cashback of up to Rs. 4,000. No-cost EMI is also available for up to 30 months through selected NBFC partners and for up to nine months through participating banks.

Battery, construction and dimensions
The Galaxy Z Flip 8 carries a 4,300mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. It weighs 180 grams and uses an Armour Aluminium frame.
Samsung has given the handset an IP48 rating for dust and water resistance. The cover screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
When unfolded, the phone measures 166.9 x 75.4 x 6.1mm. Folded dimensions are 85.7 x 75.4 x 13.1mm.
Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and USB Type-C. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor handles user authentication.
50MP camera system and Android 17
The rear camera system combines a 50MP main camera with a 12MP ultrawide camera. A 10MP front camera is positioned within the internal display for selfies and video calls.
The camera arrangement supports 4K video recording at up to 60fps. Users can also use the rear cameras while relying on the cover display as a preview screen with the phone folded.
Samsung ships the device with Android 17 and One UI 9. The company introduced the Galaxy Z Flip 8 at Galaxy Unpacked, held on Wednesday in London, as the successor to the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
Buyers can receive a six-month Google AI Pro trial that includes 5TB of cloud storage. Samsung also said customers ordering through its official website and enrolling in a monthly Samsung Care+ plan will receive their first three months of protection at no cost.
