Motorola is set to launch the Moto G67 Power 5G globally on November 5, starting in India. This mid-range smartphone stands out with its massive 7,000 mAh battery and reinforced design tailored for daily durability.
The Moto G67 Power 5G continues Motorola’s strategy to offer long-lasting battery life in budget-friendly devices. It is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor paired with 8 GB of RAM and comes in two storage variants: 128 GB and 256 GB.
Display and Durability
The phone features a 6.7-inch LCD screen with a Full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Its display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, enhancing scratch resistance and longevity.
Motorola provides robust physical protection by certifying the device with IP64 for dust and splash resistance. Moreover, its chassis meets the MIL-STD-810H military standard, endorsing resistance against shocks and harsh environmental conditions.
Camera and Multimedia Features
On the imaging front, the Moto G67 Power 5G houses a 50 MP main rear camera using Sony Lytia 600 sensor technology with Quad Pixel enhancement. There is also an 8 MP ultra-wide rear sensor for broader shots. For selfies, the device sports a 32 MP front camera with an aperture of f/2.2.
Audio is handled by stereo speakers enhanced with Dolby Atmos technology, offering an immersive sound experience. The device includes a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack and supports USB Type-C connectivity.
Battery Life and Technology
The highlight of the Moto G67 Power 5G is its enormous 7,000 mAh battery cell. Motorola employs silicon-carbon battery technology, which improves power efficiency and longevity. According to the manufacturer, this battery can deliver usage of more than two days or up to 58 hours on a single charge.
The phone measures 210 grams in weight and has a slim profile of 8.6 mm thickness. Its body is available in stylish vegan leather finishes in three colors: Pantone Cilantro, Parachute Purple, and Blue Curacao.
Operating System and Additional Specs
The smartphone runs on the latest Android 15 out of the box, ensuring access to current features and security updates. It also supports 5G connectivity to deliver faster internet speeds and improved network reliability.
Expected Pricing and Market Position
While the official price has not been announced, industry estimates suggest the Moto G67 Power 5G will retail just under $200, based on Motorola’s previous model Moto G86 Power, which was sold for approximately $190 in India.
This combination of a large battery, rugged body, and efficient chipset positions the Moto G67 Power 5G as a competitive option in the mid-range segment. It aims to attract users who prioritize battery longevity and durable build quality in their smartphones at an affordable price.
As the release date approaches globally at the end of 2025, tech enthusiasts and budget-conscious consumers will likely keep an eye on this upcoming Motorola model. The blend of long-lasting battery life and military-grade durability could make the Moto G67 Power 5G an appealing choice for everyday mobile needs.
