Realme 16 Pro for the Indian market has leaked with details about color options and memory configurations. The phone is expected to launch in January or February 2026, following Realme’s six-month refresh cycle.
Leaks reveal three color choices: Peeble Grey, Master Gold, and Orchid Purple. All variants carry the internal model number RMX5120, specifically for India.
The Realme 16 Pro will offer four RAM and storage options. These include 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, and the highest version with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Realme follows a predictable pattern, launching new series every six months. The Realme 15 series debuted in July 2025, paving the way for the 16 series early next year.
Although the leak shares configuration and color options, critical technical details remain undisclosed. Information about the chipset, design, and camera upgrades is still under wraps.
Looking back, the predecessor, Realme 15 Pro, sported a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. It ran on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor.
The Realme 15 Pro featured up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, with a camera setup including dual 50MP rear sensors and a 50MP selfie camera. It also supported in-display fingerprint sensing and had high IP-rated water and dust resistance.
Connectivity options in the previous model included 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and USB-C. It packed a large 7,000mAh battery with an 80W fast-charging capability, setting a high benchmark for its successor.
Realme has a solid history of delivering mid-range smartphones with strong value propositions. For example, its Realme 9 Pro+ was praised for excellent low-light photography.
The brand also explores premium collaborations, as seen with the Realme GT 8 Pro Aston Martin F1 Edition, signaling ambitions beyond budget devices. Another partnership with Ricoh GR improved its camera technology for more professional photography experiences.
With four memory variants, Realme 16 Pro aims to attract a wider audience. Casual users and power users alike can find a version that fits their needs and budgets.
The fresh color lineup also aims to boost the phone’s visual appeal. Vibrant hues like Orchid Purple and the sophisticated Master Gold offer more personalized choices for buyers.
More official information about the Realme 16 Pro’s key specs and features is expected near the launch date. Realme typically reveals such details gradually via teasers and dedicated launch events.
Industry watchers anticipate the new model to enhance the brand’s mid-range portfolio, continuing its trend of competitive innovation. Buyers should monitor upcoming announcements to learn about chipset updates and camera improvements.
