OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus 15R for the global market. The announcement came on December 17, 2025, about a month after the debut of the OnePlus 15 series in November.
The OnePlus 15R targets customers seeking flagship-level performance at a more affordable price. It carries forward the brand’s “R” lineup strategy, offering flagship essence with some compromises to reduce cost.

The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, a tier below the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 found in the regular OnePlus 15. It features up to 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage options reaching 512 GB. This combination promises smooth multitasking and fast app or game loading.
OnePlus 15R excels with its massive 7,400 mAh battery capacity. The phone supports 80W wired fast charging for quick power replenishment. To manage heat, it includes a Cryo-Velocity 360° cooling system with a large vapor chamber and aerospace-grade aerogel insulation for improved thermal dissipation.
