iQOO has officially launched the iQOO Z11 Turbo in China, targeting the mid-range segment with flagship-level specifications at an aggressive price point. This smartphone aims to deliver high performance, premium display features, and exceptional battery endurance without entering the conventional flagship price bracket.
The iQOO Z11 Turbo features a 6.59-inch flat AMOLED display with a 2750 × 1260 resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. TCL’s luminescent C9+ material enhances color accuracy with 10-bit support and a wide DCI-P3 color gamut. The screen can achieve a peak local brightness of 5,000 nits and dim down to 1 nit to reduce eye strain during nighttime usage. Additional display technologies include 4,320Hz PWM dimming, a 3,200Hz touch sampling rate, Eye Comfort 2.0, and an AI-based outdoor visibility algorithm. The panel is protected with tempered Schott glass for added durability.
Under the hood, the phone packs the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, fabricated on a cutting-edge 3nm process. It integrates iQOO’s custom Q2 gaming chip and Monster Core Engine for optimized performance. The device pairs 12GB to 16GB of LPDDR5X ultra quad-channel RAM with UFS 4.1 storage technology, enabling it to surpass 3.59 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark. Active cooling is managed by the Ice Dome VC system, which can reduce core temperature by up to 15°C during intensive use. For gamers, connectivity enhancements include the Thunder Z1 signal booster and AI Gaming Signal Engine 2.0. All these run on OriginOS 6, based on Android 16.
The camera system is highlighted by a 200MP primary sensor equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS), allowing sharp photos even in challenging conditions. This sensor supports up to 4x lossless zoom. Alongside it is an 8MP ultra-wide lens for expansive shots. For selfies and video calls, the 32MP front camera supports wide-angle imagery and 4K video recording, making it versatile for content creators and communication.
Battery capacity stands out with a 7,600mAh Blue Ocean battery, utilizing second-generation semi solid-state technology. The battery supports ultra-fast 100W charging and implements bypass charging to minimize heat generation and battery wear during gaming sessions. It is also engineered to function reliably across extreme temperatures, from 40°C down to −20°C, which underscores its durability.
The feature set does not stop there. iQOO equipped the Z11 Turbo with an ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, a linear X-axis motor for tactile feedback, and dual certifications for dust and water resistance with IP68 and IP69 ratings. Connectivity options are extensive, including dual SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and an infrared blaster for remote control functions.
The phone is available in four colors: Blue, Pink, White, and Black. The Black variant uses a fiberglass back panel, while the other colors feature glass backs. Prices in China start at 2,699 yuan (approximately $370 USD) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model, and can go up to 3,999 yuan (around $550 USD) for the top-end 16GB RAM and 1TB storage variant. It is now accessible through official retail channels across China.
With its blend of advanced display, flagship-grade chipset, impressive camera setup, exceptional battery life, and comprehensive connectivity features, the iQOO Z11 Turbo strongly appeals to users looking for premium experience without the flagship price tag.
