Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy S26 Series in Indonesia, with availability starting March 18, 2026. Consumers can now purchase the new series directly from Samsung Stores, the official Samsung Indonesia website, and authorized partner retailers.
According to Ilham Indrawan, MX Product Marketing Senior Manager at Samsung Electronics Indonesia, the Galaxy S26 Series promises users an enhanced camera experience that captures precious moments in high quality. The series was unveiled globally at the Galaxy Unpacked event held in San Francisco, USA, and includes three models: Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Design and Display Features
The Galaxy S26 Series introduces an ambient island camera design that groups all lenses into a unified premium-looking module. The devices are also slimmer compared to their predecessors. The Galaxy S26 Ultra measures 7.9mm in thickness and weighs 214 grams. The Galaxy S26 Plus is slimmer at 7.2mm with a weight of 167 grams, while the Galaxy S26 is 7.3mm thick and weighs 190 grams.
Color options for all three models include Cobalt Violet, White, Black, and Sky Blue. Exclusive colors like Pink Gold and Silver Shadow are reserved for online purchases.
For durability, the series uses Armor Aluminum framing combined with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Each model is certified IP68 for dust and water resistance, ensuring sturdiness in various environments.
Screen technology also sees notable features on the new Galaxy S26 Series. The Galaxy S26 sports a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with an FHD+ resolution and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate enhanced by a vision booster. The Galaxy S26 Plus ups the display size to 6.7 inches with a QHD+ resolution, maintaining the same refresh rate and vision boost features.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra boasts a large 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display. A new highlight on the Ultra variant is the Privacy Display, aimed at protecting user privacy in public spaces. This technology controls pixel light emission, preventing others from viewing content on the screen while keeping the display bright and clear for the user.

The Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus share similar camera setups with a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens. Both models have a 12MP selfie camera.

Bixby, Samsung’s virtual assistant, is more intuitive in the Galaxy S26 Series and now integrates with Perplexity AI. This collaboration allows users to complete tasks efficiently using voice commands or a single button press.
