A Suzuki Carry pickup truck veered off the road and plunged into a six-meter-deep ravine along the Prabumulih–Baturaja route on Thursday morning, March 19, 2026. The incident occurred in front of the Rambang Kapak Tengah District Office, drawing attention from local residents and passing motorists.

The vehicle, registered under police number BG 8468 OL, was driven by Firli, a private employee from Palembang. Fortunately, Firli sustained only minor injuries and did not require serious medical treatment. Eyewitnesses reported that the accident caused significant traffic slowdown, as many drivers reduced speed to observe the scene.

Upon receiving the report, officers from the Rambang Kapak Tengah Police Sector promptly arrived at the site. Two personnel, Aipda Ismali and Aipda Herdian, secured the area and managed the flow of traffic to prevent worsening congestion. Their swift response ensured the safety of road users amidst the crowd gathering around the accident.
