TCL A400 Pro Arrives, A QD-Mini LED TV That Doubles As Wall Art

TCL has officially launched the A400 Pro NXT VISION TV in Indonesia through a partnership with INFORMA Electronics, positioning the model as more than a conventional television. The company is framing it as an artistic QD-Mini LED display that can blend into modern interiors like a gallery installation.

The launch reflects a growing consumer demand for products that combine premium performance with design appeal. TCL says the A400 Pro aims to deliver both, using flagship display technology, a slim body, and a matte anti-glare screen.

A TV Designed Like a Piece of Wall Art

The most visible selling point of the TCL A400 Pro is its ultra-slim design, which gives it a framed, gallery-like appearance. TCL and INFORMA Electronics are marketing the TV as a lifestyle product that does not just sit in a room, but also helps define the room’s look.

That design approach targets urban homes where electronics often need to fit with interior styling. The matte display helps the TV resemble a canvas when it is not being used for entertainment.

The Art Gallery feature is central to that idea. It uses a matte screen that reduces reflections from lamps and daylight, making the television more suitable for rooms that prioritize visual harmony.

What QD-Mini LED Brings to the Experience

TCL uses QD-Mini LED technology as the foundation of this model’s picture quality. The company says the panel delivers high brightness, strong contrast, and precise color accuracy for a more lifelike image.

Such a setup also helps when the TV is used for mixed content, from films and sports to high-action gaming. Motion handling is another focus, since TCL says the A400 Pro is designed to keep fast scenes smooth and clear.

According to the product information shared at launch, the TV offers 4K UHD resolution and a native 144Hz refresh rate. In DLG mode, the refresh rate can be boosted up to 288Hz, which should appeal to users who care about gaming responsiveness.

The Quantum Dot Pro panel is also a major spec point. TCL says it can reproduce a wide range of colors, with coverage reaching 157% of the BT.709 color gamut.

Smart Features and Eye Comfort Matter

The TV runs on Google TV, giving users access to a familiar smart platform with app support, content recommendations, and built-in voice features. TCL also highlights Hands-Free Voice Control, which lets users interact with the TV more naturally through Google Assistant.

This makes the device easier to use in daily life, especially for households that want streaming, search, and smart home interactions in one place. The inclusion of AiPQ technology adds another layer, as TCL says it helps optimize each frame intelligently for better visual output.

Eye comfort is part of the pitch as well. The A400 Pro includes Flicker Free and Anti-Blue Light features, which TCL positions as useful for longer viewing sessions.

Audio and Installation Options

TCL has paired the display with ONKYO audio, aiming to deliver a more cinematic sound profile. That matters because picture quality alone often does not create a premium home theater experience.

The TV also supports a “Fit Everywhere” design concept, which allows it to be mounted on a wall or placed on a minimal stand. This flexibility should make it easier to match different room sizes and interior layouts.

For buyers who want a statement piece as much as a screen, that approach may be one of the model’s strongest advantages. It also supports the product’s broader identity as a hybrid between consumer electronics and decorative interior design.

Availability in Indonesia

INFORMA Electronics is the exclusive retail partner for the TCL A400 Pro in Indonesia. The model is available through INFORMA stores and the Ruparupa e-commerce platform.

The product lineup includes multiple screen sizes, starting from 32 inches and continuing through 43, 55, 65, and 75 inches. Notably, the 75-inch version is available exclusively through INFORMA Electronics, according to the company.

TCL and INFORMA are also offering installment options, including 0% financing for up to 24 months. That may help broaden access for consumers who want a premium display without paying the full cost upfront.

The launch comes as TCL continues to strengthen its premium TV presence in Southeast Asia, while INFORMA uses the collaboration to reinforce its role in the connected home and lifestyle electronics market. With its art-inspired design, QD-Mini LED panel, and wide retail availability in Indonesia, the TCL A400 Pro is being positioned as a television built for both performance and presentation.
