The device starts at Rs. 11,499, or about $138, for the 4GB/64GB model, while the 4GB/128GB version costs Rs. 12,499, or roughly $150. It goes on sale through Flipkart and Xiaomi’s online store from April 15, with Black, Mist Blue, and Sunset Orange as the available color options.

A display-first approach in a budget 5G phone

The biggest headline here is the 6.9-inch HD+ LCD panel. Redmi pairs that large screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, which should make scrolling, switching apps, and browsing social feeds feel smoother than on typical budget phones.
