Realme Narzo 100 Lite 5G Feels Too Bold, 7000mAh Battery And 144Hz Display In One Entry Phone

Realme has expanded its Narzo lineup in India with the NARZO 100 Lite 5G, a budget 5G phone that pushes two features usually hard to find together at this price level: a 7,000mAh battery and a 144Hz display. The device is clearly aimed at users who want long endurance, smoother scrolling, and basic 5G performance without moving into a higher price bracket.

The launch also signals how aggressively Realme is targeting entry-level buyers in India, where battery life and price often matter more than premium design. According to the launch material cited by Gizmochina, the phone combines durability claims, a large battery, and a competitive starting price to stand out in a crowded segment.

A 144Hz screen on an entry-level 5G phone

The Realme NARZO 100 Lite 5G uses a 6.8-inch IPS LCD panel with an HD+ resolution of 1570 x 720 pixels. Its 144Hz refresh rate is the headline feature, while the touch sampling rate reaches 180Hz and peak brightness goes up to 900 nits.

That specification is unusual for a phone in this category, especially when many affordable smartphones still stop at 90Hz or 120Hz. For everyday use, the combination can make scrolling, menu navigation, and light gaming feel more responsive, even if the panel resolution remains modest.

Dimensity 6300 powers the device

Under the hood, Realme uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset built on a 6nm process. The octa-core chip pairs two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.4GHz with six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz, along with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

Realme also includes a vapor chamber cooling system covering more than 5,300 mm². That kind of thermal design usually helps maintain steadier performance during long app sessions, casual gaming, and multitasking.

  1. Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 6300
  2. CPU setup: 2x Cortex-A76 + 6x Cortex-A55
  3. GPU: Mali-G57 MC2
  4. Cooling: 5,300 mm²+ vapor chamber

Memory, storage, and software

The phone arrives with 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Realme adds dynamic RAM expansion of up to 8GB, which can help when several apps run at once.

Storage options include 64GB and 128GB using eMMC 5.1, and users can expand capacity with a microSD card up to 2TB. On the software side, the NARZO 100 Lite 5G runs realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16, which makes it one of the newer low-cost devices in terms of operating system support.

The 7,000mAh battery is the main attraction

The biggest selling point is the 7,000mAh battery, which Realme says can deliver up to two days of use on a single charge. That kind of endurance can be especially useful for commuters, students, and users who spend long hours away from a charger.

Charging is handled through 15W fast charging over USB Type-C, and the phone also supports bypass charging. That feature can help reduce heat when the device is used while plugged in, which is relevant for gaming or long video calls.

The large battery affects the physical design, too. The phone weighs 212 grams and measures 8.4 mm thick, so it is built more for stamina and durability than for a slim profile.

Cameras stay basic, but the essentials remain

Realme keeps the camera setup simple with a 13MP rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. Video recording on the back is limited to 1080p at 30fps, which fits the phone’s budget positioning.

On the front, there is a 5MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture and support for 1080p 30fps recording. That makes it suitable for video calls, online classes, and casual social media use rather than heavy photography.

Durability and connectivity features

Realme adds IP64 protection against dust and splashes, plus MIL-STD-810H compliance and ArmorShell Protection. Those additions suggest the phone is designed to handle more than just routine indoor use.

The connection package includes 5G SA and NSA support, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, single bottom speaker, and an ultra volume mode rated at up to 300% round out the feature set.
