vivo Set To Bring X300 Ultra And X300 FE To India, Telephoto Extender Leads The Pitch

Author: Qoo Media

vivo is preparing to bring the X300 Ultra and X300 FE to India, and the early teaser from vivo India makes one thing clear: camera accessories are part of the story. The company is not just positioning the phones as new arrivals, but as devices built around a more flexible imaging setup.

The teaser first appeared after the international rollout of both models had already begun. That timing suggests a local launch is drawing closer, even though vivo has not yet shared an official date for India.

Imaging takes the spotlight

The promotional material from vivo India puts photography at the center of both phones. Instead of focusing only on the built-in camera hardware, the company is also highlighting accessory support that expands what users can do with the devices.

That approach gives the X300 series a more modular angle, especially for buyers who care about zoom shooting and more stable handling. It also fits the “coming soon” message, which is typically used to build attention before deeper details such as memory variants and pricing are revealed.

Telephoto extender support is the main draw

The most notable detail from the teaser is telephoto extender compatibility. For the X300 Ultra, vivo lists support for the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra, while the phone also works with the vivo Imaging Grip Kit.

The X300 FE follows a similar path, but with its own accessory pairing. It supports the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 and also works with the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Accessories Set, giving the compact flagship a camera-focused appeal of its own.

This accessory strategy makes the X300 lineup stand out in a crowded premium segment. It suggests vivo wants to make long-range photography a defining feature, not just a specification line in the brochure.

Green becomes part of the X300 FE story

Alongside the accessory news, vivo India has also shown the X300 FE in green. That is the only color confirmed so far for the Indian market, and vivo has not disclosed the full color range for either the X300 Ultra or the X300 FE.

At this stage, it is still unclear whether the green finish will remain exclusive to India or later appear in other markets. Even so, the color choice matters because premium smartphones often rely on design and finish as much as hardware to attract attention.

What remains under wraps

vivo has not yet published the complete specifications for either device in India. Based on the global models, the X300 Ultra is expected to use Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the X300 FE is tipped to run Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.

Those details still need official confirmation for India, and the final configuration could differ from the global versions. Changes in RAM, storage, network bands, or retail bundles remain possible until vivo makes the local announcement.

One important point for buyers is that the accessories are not included in the box automatically. The telephoto extender products and related kits will need to be purchased separately, so the enhanced photography setup will come as an add-on rather than a standard package item.

For now, the clearest signals from vivo are straightforward: the X300 Ultra and X300 FE are on the way to India, both are built to work with telephoto extender accessories, and the X300 FE will arrive in green. The next official update should answer the remaining questions around availability, pricing, and whether that color option will define the model’s local identity.
