Vivo T5 Pro Debuts in India, 9,020 mAh Battery and 144 Hz AMOLED in the Spotlight

Vivo has introduced the T5 Pro in India with a feature set that makes it difficult to overlook, especially for users who prioritize battery life and display smoothness. The device enters the market with a 9,020 mAh battery, 144 Hz AMOLED panel, and pricing that still sits in the Rp 5 jutaan range.

The combination of a large battery, fast charging support, and a recent Snapdragon chipset positions the phone as a practical option for active users. Vivo also pairs that hardware with a fairly balanced physical design, keeping the device from feeling overly bulky despite its massive battery.

A battery-first approach without sacrificing proportions

The 9,020 mAh battery is the main headline feature on the Vivo T5 Pro. It is aimed at users who need long endurance for communication, entertainment, and gaming throughout the day.

Even with that capacity, Vivo has kept the phone relatively manageable in hand. The device measures about 8.25 mm thick and weighs 213 grams, which helps it remain practical for everyday use.

Fast charging and useful power features

To support the large battery, Vivo includes 90W fast charging on the T5 Pro. The company claims the battery can reach 50 percent in around 37 minutes, giving the phone a clear advantage for users who need quick top-ups.

The phone also supports bypass charging, a feature that can be useful during gaming while plugged in. In that mode, power can go directly to the system to help manage heat more effectively.

Another practical addition is reverse charging, which allows the phone to charge other devices. That makes the T5 Pro more flexible for users who carry accessories or need backup power on the go.

Smooth display performance takes center stage

The display is another major reason the Vivo T5 Pro stands out. It uses a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with a 144 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits.

That screen specification is designed to deliver a smoother experience for scrolling, video playback, and gaming. The high brightness level also helps the panel remain easier to view under strong light.

Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 powers the device

Under the hood, the Vivo T5 Pro relies on Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. The chipset is paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.

Vivo also adds a 7,000 mm² vapor chamber to help maintain stable performance. The cooling system is intended to keep temperatures under control during heavier tasks over longer periods.

Camera setup remains practical

For photography, the phone uses a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main camera with OIS. Optical stabilization should help keep photos sharper and videos steadier, especially when the device is used while moving.

The camera setup is not the central selling point of the T5 Pro, but it still gives the phone a well-rounded profile. That balance makes the device more than just a battery and display showcase.

Price and availability in India

In India, the Vivo T5 Pro is available in three configurations. The pricing is as follows: 8 GB/128 GB at 29,999 rupee, around Rp 5,5 juta; 8 GB/256 GB at 33,999 rupee, around Rp 6,2 juta; and 12 GB/256 GB at 39,999 rupee, around Rp 7,3 juta.

Vivo offers the phone in Glacier Blue and Cosmic Black. So far, there is no official information about the device’s arrival in Indonesia, leaving the local market waiting for further news from Vivo.
