ASUS ROG Unveils Three AI Gaming Laptops, NPU Power Reaches 50 TOPS

ASUS ROG Indonesia has expanded its gaming lineup with three AI-ready laptops that put smart processing at the center of the experience. The new models are the ROG Zephyrus G14, TUF Gaming A14, and ROG Strix G16, each aimed at a different type of user.

The launch signals a broader shift in how ASUS positions its gaming laptops. Instead of treating artificial intelligence as an extra feature, the company now places AI functionality alongside performance, mobility, and efficiency as part of the main appeal.

AI processing becomes a key selling point

At the heart of the new lineup is the Neural Processing Unit, or NPU, with AI performance reaching up to 50 TOPS. That capability is used to support offline AI digital assistants, speed up video rendering, and help manage power more intelligently.

This approach reflects changing user needs. Many buyers no longer look only for strong graphics performance, but also for faster workflows, better power efficiency, and tools that support creative work and daily tasks.

ROG Zephyrus G14 focuses on portability

Among the three, the ROG Zephyrus G14 is the most compact option. It uses a CNC Aluminum chassis, measures 1.59 cm thin, and weighs 1.5 kg, which makes it a practical choice for users who want a powerful laptop that is still easy to carry.

Its display is one of the main highlights. The ROG Nebula HDR OLED panel comes in a 3K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, which positions the model for users who value both image quality and smooth motion.

Inside, ASUS equips the notebook with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 processor, an NPU rated up to 50 TOPS, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics. The combination places the Zephyrus G14 in a flexible category for productivity and gaming on the move.

TUF Gaming A14 brings compact durability

The TUF Gaming A14 takes a different route by combining a smaller 14-inch form factor with the rugged identity that the TUF name is known for. It still carries MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability, while appearing more practical than the bulkier designs often associated with this series.

ASUS pairs the laptop with an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 392 processor and Radeon 8060S graphics. A unified memory capacity of 32GB gives the system more room for multitasking and heavier workloads.

One notable feature is 0dB Ambient Cooling. With this technology, the laptop can remain quiet during lighter tasks, which improves comfort in everyday use.

ROG Strix G16 aims higher for performance-first gaming

For users who prioritize raw power, the ROG Strix G16 stands as the most aggressive model in the new trio. It can be configured with up to GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics and either a Ryzen 9 8940HX or Ryzen 9 9955HX3 processor.

Those specifications show a clear focus on AAA gaming and competitive use cases that demand high frame rates. ASUS also says the model supports AI gaming scenarios, adding system intelligence as part of the gameplay experience.

To keep performance stable under long and demanding sessions, ASUS uses ROG Intelligent Cooling with a Tri-fan system. That cooling setup is central to maintaining output when the laptop is pushed hard over extended play.

Pricing and target users

ASUS sets the starting price of the ROG Zephyrus G14 (2026) at Rp 40.999.000. The ROG Strix G16 is offered in two versions, priced at Rp 32.999.000 for the FHD+ 165Hz model and Rp 35.999.000 for the QHD 300Hz model.

The TUF Gaming A14 comes with multiple configurations and is priced at Rp 29.999.000. Together, the three laptops cover different priorities, from portability and durability to high-end gaming performance, while all three share the same emphasis on AI-enabled computing.
