In this system, TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, and air conditioners are connected under one ecosystem. Control is handled through the LG ThinQ app on a smartphone, allowing users to monitor and manage several functions from a single point.
Four products show how LG is targeting compact homes
The main message behind LG’s InnoFest 2026 showcase came through four key innovations. Each one was positioned to support compact living by combining automation with functions that remain practical in limited spaces.
The washing machine with AI DD can detect fabric type, weight, and softness. It then chooses the most suitable washing cycle, helping deliver efficient cleaning while protecting clothes.
AI Wash 2.0 also appears in LG’s washing machine lineup. This feature is designed to make the washing process more optimized while maintaining care for garments, reinforcing the company’s focus on convenience and fabric protection.
For cooling, LG introduced ACs with AI Air. The system reads temperature, humidity, and the number of people in a room to adjust cooling accordingly.
A Human Detecting Sensor helps reduce electricity use when the room is empty. This makes the air conditioner part of LG’s broader push to combine comfort with more controlled power consumption.
The smart refrigerator completes the set with automatic compressor adjustment. When usage intensity drops, such as at night, the compressor can change its operation automatically to support energy efficiency without affecting the refrigerator’s core function.
