Infinix has expanded its GT Series lineup in Indonesia with the GT 50 Pro, a mid-range gaming smartphone built to target users who want strong performance without stepping into flagship pricing. Positioned around the Rp6 million range, the device is designed to deliver serious gaming capability while keeping long-session stability at the center of its appeal.
That balance between speed and endurance is the main message around the GT 50 Pro. Infinix says the phone is meant to handle demanding play more consistently, while also supporting a smoother experience for esports titles that can take advantage of native 144FPS output.
Gaming performance comes first
At the core of the GT 50 Pro is the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate, a 4nm chipset with clock speeds of up to 3.25 GHz. The processor is paired with up to 12GB of RAM, creating a configuration aimed at modern gaming needs where quick response and power efficiency matter just as much as raw speed.
Infinix also highlights support for native 144FPS in popular esports games. That capability is positioned as a way to make on-screen motion feel more fluid and responsive, especially in titles where frame rate stability directly affects gameplay comfort.
Cooling is a major part of the pitch
A key differentiator of the GT 50 Pro is its HydroFlow Liquid Cooling Architecture. The system uses a micro-pump and a precision liquid-flow path to keep temperatures under control during extended gaming sessions.
Infinix claims the cooling setup can reach 100% coverage of the chipset area. That matters because overheating and throttling can reduce frame-rate stability, especially when the phone is under heavy load for long periods.
Controls designed for gaming and beyond
The GT 50 Pro also includes GT Trigger, a pressure-sensitive control feature intended to give players more precise input options. It supports tap, hard press, and left-right slide actions, and the settings can be adjusted through XArena or Game Assistant depending on the game.
The feature is not limited to gaming use. Infinix says GT Trigger can also assist with photography functions, including tap to shoot and zoom, giving the hardware a broader role in daily use.
Audio, signal, and connected experience
Beyond performance and cooling, the device comes with Dolby Atmos for audio output. On the connectivity side, Infinix includes its N1 Network Chip, which is claimed to improve signal strength by up to 60%.
These additions help position the GT 50 Pro as more than a gaming phone alone. The device is presented as a handset that can also handle entertainment and everyday connectivity with a more rounded feature set.
Part of the GT Verse ecosystem
Infinix is also placing the GT 50 Pro inside its GT Verse ecosystem. Two companion products introduced alongside it are the GT Watch 5 Pro and the GT Buds 5, both meant to support the broader gaming-oriented lineup.
The GT Watch 5 Pro can monitor heart rate, gaming duration, and respawn countdowns. Meanwhile, the GT Buds 5 offer 44ms low latency, 12mm drivers, and Dolby Spatial Audio support.
Used in official esports competition
The phone’s competitive gaming positioning is reinforced through its collaboration with MOONTON Games. The GT 50 Pro has been named the Official Gaming Phone for MPL Indonesia Season 17 and MDL Indonesia Season 13.
That role places the device directly in the environment of official esports competition. It also signals how Infinix wants the GT 50 Pro to be seen in the mid-range gaming segment, where performance, cooling, and stability often decide how strong a device looks on paper and in practice.
