Realme’s C100 Series is drawing attention in Indonesia not just because of its entry-level positioning, but because the line appears to be built around unusually large batteries for its class. Two models have already surfaced through certification listings and official teasers, making the prospect of an imminent launch increasingly hard to ignore.
The series is being watched closely as a budget phone family that could prioritize endurance over everything else. Along with the battery focus, the devices are also linked to fast charging and body protection features that are rarely emphasized in the low-cost segment.
Certification trail points to two models
The clearest signs so far come from two model numbers, RMX5377 and RMX5366, which have appeared on the Postel Komdigi database. Those entries strengthened the belief that Realme is preparing the C100 Series for the Indonesian market.
IMEI and TUV Rheinland records then identified the two devices as Realme C100i and Realme C100x. Realme Indonesia also added fuel to the speculation by posting an official teaser on Instagram, where the series was introduced as a “Champion Baru” with a focus on strong endurance.
Battery capacity becomes the main talking point
The biggest headline around the lineup is its battery size. Leaks from Passionategeekz and SmartPrix place the Realme C100 Series among the strongest contenders in the affordable phone category when it comes to battery capacity.
For the Realme C100x, Passionategeekz claims an 8,000 mAh battery. That figure is notable because earlier reports had mentioned 7,500 mAh, so the newer claim makes the model look even more ambitious.
The Realme C100i is said to come with a 7,000 mAh battery. If the reports prove accurate, both phones would still stand out in the entry-level segment, where battery life is often a major concern for daily users.
Fast charging adds more practical value
A large battery usually raises questions about charging time, and the C100x is reportedly prepared for that. The model is said to support 45 W fast charging, which should help reduce the wait compared with slower budget devices.
That combination matters because a high-capacity battery is only part of the story. For users who rely on their phone throughout the day, quicker recharging can be just as important as long runtime.
The two variants appear to target different needs
Leaks suggest the Realme C100x is the more specification-heavy option. It is said to come with 6 GB of RAM and two internal storage choices, 128 GB and 256 GB, giving it a slightly more flexible profile for users who need more room for apps and files.
The same leaks also point to two color options, Deepblue Tide and Golden Coast. A retail box image that has circulated online shows a dual camera module in a pill-shaped layout, suggesting a simple but modern design direction.
The Realme C100i, by contrast, seems to put more emphasis on durability. It is reportedly powered by the Unisoc T615 chipset and carries MIL-STD-810H certification along with an IP64 rating.
MIL-STD-810H indicates a device has been designed with a certain level of durability in mind, while IP64 means protection against dust and water splashes. Those details are still uncommon in the cheapest phone tier, which is why the C100i is also getting attention.
Pricing clues raise expectations in Indonesia
Pricing remains unofficial, but one leak places the Realme C100x in India at between 10,000 and 15,000 rupee. In Indonesia, an official-looking poster that has circulated online shows a pre-order starting price of Rp3.1 million.
That gap makes the Indonesian version worth watching closely, especially if the final local package keeps the series’ main strengths intact. Realme would likely depend on the combination of a giant battery, 45 W charging, and durability-focused features to justify that position.
At this stage, the lineup is still waiting for full official details, but the paperwork, teaser material, and industry leaks all point in the same direction. Realme C100i and Realme C100x now look increasingly likely to arrive soon as low-cost phones that try to win attention through battery life and practical durability rather than flashy extras.
