Infinix has expanded its GT lineup in Indonesia with the GT 50 Pro, a device aimed squarely at users who want gaming hardware that stays steady under pressure. The phone enters the mid-range segment with a display built for speed, a large battery, and a new cooling system designed to support longer play sessions.

The company positions the GT 50 Pro around consistency rather than raw power alone. Vice President Transsion Indonesia Christian Sudibyo said that what gamers need is “consistency and stability they can rely on,” and that idea shapes the phone’s overall hardware direction.

A 144Hz AMOLED display for smoother motion

One of the clearest highlights of the GT 50 Pro is its screen. The phone uses a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 1,208 x 2,644-pixel FHD Plus resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

That combination is meant to deliver smoother movement while switching between menus or playing fast-paced games. For competitive gaming, a high-refresh display can make visual response feel more comfortable and fluid.

Dimensity 8400 and a cooling system built for sustained performance

Under the hood, the GT 50 Pro runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 paired with 12GB of RAM. This setup is aimed at handling demanding workloads, including extended gaming sessions and other heavy tasks.

Infinix also adds its new HydroFlow Liquid Cooling Architecture. The system uses a micro-pump liquid cooling design that is claimed to be among the largest in its class, with cooling coverage reaching 100 percent of the chipset area.

That matters because heat can reduce performance during long gameplay. With broader cooling coverage, the GT 50 Pro is intended to maintain more stable output when the device is pushed hard.

Large battery with fast charging support

Battery life is another major selling point. The GT 50 Pro carries a 6,500 mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging.

The capacity gives the phone more room for gaming, video playback, and all-day use. Fast charging helps reduce downtime when the device needs to be powered up again.

Camera and storage options

For imaging, Infinix equips the GT 50 Pro with a 50MP main rear camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera. On the front, the phone includes a 13MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Storage is available in two configurations: 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB. The larger storage choices are useful for users who keep multiple games, apps, and media files on the device.

Official pricing in Indonesia

The GT 50 Pro is sold at Rp 6.9 million for the 12GB/256GB version. The 12GB/512GB model is priced at Rp 7.9 million.

Both variants include the GT Magcharge Cooler in the package. With its 144Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 8400 chipset, 6,500 mAh battery, and added cooling solution, the GT 50 Pro is presented as Infinix’s effort to offer a gaming-focused phone that prioritizes sustained performance in the Indonesian market.
