Oppo Find X10 is back in the spotlight after fresh leaks pointed to two upgrades that could define its next flagship identity: a 165Hz flat display and a new periscope telephoto camera. The information comes from several Weibo tipsters who said the device is being tested in engineering prototype form.
If the rumors prove accurate, Oppo appears to be pushing the Find X10 toward a more aggressive premium formula centered on smoother visuals and stronger long-range photography. That direction could give the phone a distinct position in the upper tier of the market, even though Oppo has not confirmed any of the details.
A display aimed at speed and comfort
One of the most notable claims comes from tipster Smart Pikachu, who says the Oppo Find X10 will feature a flat 1.5K display with a 165Hz refresh rate. That would mark a notable jump from the Oppo Find X9, which is said to use a 120Hz AMOLED panel.
A 165Hz screen generally promises smoother scrolling, more fluid animation, and a better feel during gaming or app switching. The flat design also stands out because many premium phones still rely on curved panels, while a flat screen is often seen as easier to handle in daily use.
Camera testing points to a more ambitious zoom setup
The camera side of the rumor mill is equally active. According to Digital Chat Station, the engineering prototype of the Oppo Find X10 carries a 200-megapixel rear main camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor, a size typically associated with improved light capture.
The more interesting part is the 3x periscope telephoto module, which is still undergoing A/B testing. That means Oppo has not finalized the zoom configuration yet, and the company may still choose between different hardware directions before the phone reaches its final form.
Two variants are reportedly being tested for that periscope setup. One version uses a 200-megapixel periscope camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor, while another option is said to rely on a 64-megapixel periscope camera with a 1/2-inch sensor.
Different routes for telephoto performance
The same leak suggests the 200-megapixel periscope variant uses Samsung’s HP5 sensor. The 64-megapixel version is described as a newer solution, although no additional technical details have been revealed.
That split indicates Oppo may be evaluating two different philosophies for zoom photography. One focuses on extremely high resolution, while the other may lean toward a more balanced approach in image character or efficiency.
How this differs from the Find X9
The rumored shift would be more ambitious than the current Oppo Find X9 camera setup, which is said to include a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 wide camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 telephoto camera with OIS.
If the Find X10 adopts a 200-megapixel main camera and a new periscope system, it could represent a substantial leap in mobile photography. That would place more pressure on rival premium phones, especially if Oppo’s image processing also improves alongside the hardware.
Chipset rumors remain inconsistent
Not every detail around the phone lines up yet. Digital Chat Station says the device will use a MediaTek processor from the Dimensity 9000 series, while earlier leaks claimed the Oppo Find X10 line would be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600.
This mismatch suggests the chipset configuration is still moving during development. Even so, the overall direction still points toward a flagship-class MediaTek platform rather than a midrange approach.
Other early signs from the leak cycle
Earlier rumors also mentioned an 8,000mAh battery for the Oppo Find X10. The same source even claimed the phone could feature two 200-megapixel rear cameras, although that detail does not fully match the newer report.
There is also talk that the Oppo Find X10 family will include three models: Oppo Find X10, Find X10 Pro, and Find X10 Pro Max. The lineup is expected to arrive in October, although all of this remains early-stage information based on prototypes and internal testing.
For now, the 165Hz flat display and the new periscope telephoto camera are the two elements drawing the most attention. If they make it into the final product, the Oppo Find X10 could emerge as a serious premium contender built around smoother screen performance and a more daring zoom camera strategy.
