Asus has expanded its gaming monitor lineup in Indonesia with three new 27-inch 4K models that all center on one idea: giving users both sharp detail and very high speed in a single display. The lineup consists of ROG Strix XG27UCG Gen2, ROG Strix XG27UCS Gen2, and TUF Gaming VG27UQEL5A, and each model is built to serve different gaming needs without forcing users to settle for only one type of performance.
The main attraction is Dual Mode, a feature that lets the monitor switch from 4K to FHD with a higher refresh rate. In practical use, that means one screen can support cinematic games with detailed visuals and also handle fast competitive titles with a much quicker response profile. Asus pairs that approach with Smart Pixel, which is designed to keep the image sharp even when the monitor runs at lower resolution.
Fast panel technology across the lineup
All three monitors use Asus Fast IPS panels and are rated with a minimum response time of up to 0.3 ms. That specification is aimed at reducing common distractions in fast-moving games, including ghosting and tearing, which can interrupt the flow of play.
Asus also includes ELMB Sync on the series, combining Extreme Low Motion Blur with variable refresh rate support. The goal is to make motion appear cleaner and more responsive, especially in titles where quick camera movement and rapid frame changes are part of the experience.
ROG Strix focuses on higher-end performance
The two ROG Strix models are positioned for users who want stronger performance ceilings. ROG Strix XG27UCG Gen2 supports 4K at 162Hz and FHD at 485Hz, while ROG Strix XG27UCS Gen2 offers 4K at 160Hz and FHD at 324Hz.
Both ROG Strix monitors carry VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. That places them in a category that can appeal not only to gamers, but also to users who need better color accuracy for photo and video editing.
TUF Gaming brings a more accessible option
For a broader market, Asus offers the TUF Gaming VG27UQEL5A. This model keeps the same 27-inch 4K direction but is presented with a stronger emphasis on durability, in line with the TUF identity.
Its Dual Mode support works by shifting from 4K at 80Hz to FHD at 310Hz, and the change can be triggered with a hotkey. That makes the transition faster and easier, since users do not need to go deep into the settings menu just to switch display behavior.
Even as the more mainstream option, the TUF Gaming VG27UQEL5A still includes Smart Pixel and ELMB Sync. That combination allows the monitor to remain relevant for both casual gaming and more competitive play while keeping visual quality consistent.
A flexible answer for different kinds of players
With these three 27-inch models, Asus is clearly targeting users in Indonesia who want one monitor that can adapt to different situations. The lineup combines 4K clarity, high refresh rates, and quick switching between display modes, with Dual Mode acting as the most distinctive element across the range.
The presence of Fast IPS, up to 0.3 ms response time, ELMB Sync, and Smart Pixel gives the new monitors a broad feature set for gaming and visual content. At the same time, the split between ROG Strix and TUF Gaming gives users room to choose between a more performance-driven model and one that prioritizes ease of use and durability.
