Motorola’s latest midrange move centers on two phones that look closely related on paper, yet target different kinds of daily use. The Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power share most of their core hardware, but the battery setup gives each model a distinct role in the lineup.
That difference is easy to understand: the standard Moto G37 keeps a large battery for everyday use, while the G37 Power pushes endurance much further for users who want fewer charging stops. With the rest of the package built around a similar foundation, battery life becomes the clearest reason to choose one over the other.
Battery remains the main divider
The most noticeable gap between the two models is the battery capacity. Moto G37 Power carries a 7,000 mAh battery, paired with 30W wired charging and 6W reverse wired charging, making it the stronger option for long sessions away from a charger.
Moto G37 uses a 5,200 mAh battery and supports 20W wired charging. That capacity is still substantial for a midrange phone, but it sits below the Power model in terms of endurance and charging flexibility.
Shared hardware keeps the lineup familiar
Outside of battery, Motorola has kept the two phones closely aligned. Both devices use a 6.67-inch LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 7i protection, which should help deliver smoother everyday navigation and basic durability on the front.
They also run on the same MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and ship with Android 16. That combination places both phones in a familiar midrange lane, aimed at users who want responsive performance for social media, streaming, and general multitasking without moving into a higher-priced tier.
Memory options create another point of separation
Motorola also distinguishes the two models through memory configurations. Moto G37 comes with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage in 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB versions, while microSD expansion is included.
Moto G37 Power offers more flexibility. It is available with either 4GB or 8GB of RAM, and storage is listed at 128GB or 256GB, also with microSD support for users who need more space.
Camera setup stays practical rather than ambitious
Photography is handled in a straightforward way on both phones. Moto G37 features a 50MP main camera, although its rear camera arrangement can vary by market.
In some regions, the phone is offered with only that 50MP rear sensor, while other markets get an additional 8MP ultrawide camera. Moto G37 Power is described more simply, with no ultrawide camera mentioned in its configuration.
At the front, both models use an 8MP selfie camera. That keeps the camera differences relatively limited and reinforces that Motorola is focusing on practicality rather than pushing a major imaging upgrade between the two versions.
Durability and everyday features are still present
Motorola has also included protection features that matter in routine use. Both devices carry an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, along with MIL-STD-810H certification, indicating an effort to improve tolerance in certain usage conditions.
Audio features are not stripped back either. Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power both include stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack, which remains relevant for users who still prefer wired audio or want a more flexible listening setup.
Design choices stay simple but varied
The Moto G37 will be offered in several Pantone color options: Pantone Impenetrable, Pantone Capri, Pantone Nautical Blue, and Pantone Fuchsia Red. Those choices add a more expressive touch to the device without changing its practical positioning.
Taken together, the two phones appear aimed at different priorities rather than different price brackets alone. Moto G37 fits users who want a balanced midrange phone with a large battery, while Moto G37 Power is the more logical pick for those who care most about extended endurance and a stronger charging package.
