The return of vivo’s T Series to Indonesia arrives with a clear message: battery life is no longer being treated as a side feature. In the new vivo T5 Series, the regular model pushes capacity to 7200mAh, while the higher-end vivo T5 Pro 5G pairs performance-focused hardware with fast charging and a slimmer build.
The lineup was introduced on 29 April 2026 and is aimed at young users who want one device that can handle work, entertainment, and creative tasks. vivo positions the series as a more complete package, combining performance, endurance, design, and camera features in a single family.
Performance takes the lead on the Pro model
Among the two devices, the vivo T5 Pro 5G carries the more aggressive hardware setup. It uses the Dimensity 7400-Turbo chipset and UFS 3.1 storage, which vivo says delivers read and write speeds up to 80 percent faster than the previous generation.
That combination is claimed to push the phone’s AnTuTu score beyond 1 million points. vivo places this performance level as a fit for multitasking, learning, entertainment, and gaming, with support for up to 90fps in selected popular titles.
To strengthen gaming use, the phone also includes Ultra Game Mode. The feature is designed to make controls feel more responsive and to create a more immersive play session.
Large batteries, but different priorities
Battery life is one of the strongest selling points in the series, and the two models approach it differently. The vivo T5 Pro 5G comes with a 6500mAh battery that is claimed to last through a full day of use, including up to 15 hours of continuous work, social media activity, and gaming.
The Pro model also supports 90W FlashCharge. vivo says the battery can reach 50 percent in 23 minutes and a full charge in around 52 minutes.
The regular vivo T5 goes even further on capacity with a 7200mAh battery. vivo says this is one of the largest batteries in its lineup and can support up to 45 hours of video playback and 72 hours of music playback.
A slimmer body for the Pro variant
Despite the large battery inside, the vivo T5 Pro 5G is still built to look and feel slim. Its body measures 7.59 mm thick, and the flat side frame is intended to improve comfort during longer use.
The rear design uses a minimal camera layout to keep the overall appearance clean and sleek. vivo offers the phone in three color options: Total Pink, Total Blue, and Total Black.
That design direction shows that the series is not focused only on endurance and speed. It also targets buyers who want a phone that looks stylish while remaining practical for daily use.
Camera and AI tools for content creation
The camera package on the vivo T5 Pro 5G centers on a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera. On the front, the phone uses a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.
Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording. That gives users more room to produce higher-quality content directly from the device.
vivo also adds a set of AI Photography features, including AI Erase 3.0, AI Reflection Remover, and AI Aura Light. These tools are intended to improve photo results in different shooting conditions.
