Oppo is preparing a quicker India rollout for the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s, and that shorter gap from the global debut is the most notable part of the story. It marks a sharper distribution approach than the one seen with earlier generations, when Indian buyers often had to wait much longer.
That timing matters because the Find X9 series was introduced globally only at the end of April. Oppo now appears intent on keeping momentum high in India while attention on its newest flagship lineup is still strong.
A flagship push centered on imaging
The Find X9 Ultra is the model drawing the most attention. Oppo is positioning it as the full-scale flagship in the lineup, with the strongest hardware, a large display, and a clear focus on premium camera performance.
On the rear, the Find X9 Ultra carries four cameras. The setup includes a 200MP main camera, a 200MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with up to 10x optical zoom.
Oppo has also added a multispectral sensor to the device. The sensor is meant to help improve color and detail consistency during photography, which fits the company’s ongoing emphasis on imaging. On the front, the phone uses a 50MP selfie camera.
The display is equally ambitious. The Find X9 Ultra features a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, keeping it firmly in flagship territory.
Power, memory, and battery size
Under the hood, Oppo equips the Find X9 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Memory options go up to 16GB of RAM, while storage uses UFS 4.1 and ranges from 256GB to 1TB.
Battery life is another major point. The device packs a 7,050mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, giving it a specification sheet that extends beyond cameras alone.
That combination suggests Oppo wants the Ultra to appeal to buyers looking for a premium phone without major compromises. Performance, endurance, and imaging are all being used as part of the same flagship pitch.
The more compact Find X9s
Oppo is not relying only on the Ultra for India. The Find X9s is also set to arrive, offering a smaller alternative for users who prefer a more manageable device.
Its 6.59-inch display makes it noticeably more compact than the Ultra. Even so, Oppo has not scaled back the camera focus too aggressively, because the Find X9s still carries three 50MP rear cameras tuned with Hasselblad.
The phone uses Dimensity 9500s for performance and includes a 7,025mAh battery. Charging support is rated at 80W, which keeps it in a strong position for a device intended to sit below the top-tier Ultra.
What the India launch signals
The two models serve different kinds of buyers, but they point to the same strategy. The Find X9 Ultra targets users who want the most advanced camera and hardware package, while the Find X9s offers a more compact flagship-style option.
Bringing both models to India sooner after the global launch also suggests a more aggressive priority for the market. Oppo appears to be trying to keep premium interest elevated while the Find X9 series is still fresh.
Hasselblad remains a key part of that message as well. Oppo continues to use the partnership to underline the imaging identity of the series, and that remains central to how the company is presenting the Find X9 family.
Oppo has not announced official India pricing yet. Even so, the Find X9 Ultra is expected to sit in the premium range, while the Find X9s is positioned closer to the upper mid-range segment.
