Amazon is lining up a sharp Samsung discount at the same time that seven Samsung phones have just seen price increases in India. That contrast makes the upcoming sale stand out even more, especially for buyers waiting for a better entry point into the Galaxy S25 Ultra and the Galaxy M series.
The offer is tied to Amazon Great Summer Sale 2026 and covers three Samsung models across different price bands. Amazon India says the Galaxy S25 Ultra will start at ₹94,999, down from its current ₹1,19,999, while the Galaxy M56 will be listed from ₹21,999 instead of ₹27,999 and the Galaxy M17 from ₹13,999 instead of ₹16,999.
Three Samsung phones, three very different buyers
The most attention will naturally go to the Galaxy S25 Ultra because it remains Samsung’s premium model in this group. A drop to ₹94,999 puts it in a much more aggressive position than its current pricing, especially at a time when some Samsung devices are becoming more expensive in the Indian market.
The Galaxy M56 and Galaxy M17 serve a different purpose. They target buyers looking for lower prices and broader accessibility, and their sale pricing gives Samsung a presence in both the mid-range and entry-level space during the same campaign.
Why the listed price is not a simple flat cut
Amazon India notes that the “starting from” price is not the result of one straight discount. The effective price comes from a combination of discounts, coupons, bank offers, and EMI benefits.
That matters because the final amount a customer pays may depend on which promotional conditions are met at checkout. In other words, the headline sale price may require the buyer to use the right mix of offers to reach the advertised level.
Different access dates for the sale prices
The timing is not the same for all three phones. Amazon Great Summer Sale 2026 begins on 8 May, but the Galaxy S25 Ultra gets early access from 5 May.
That gives the flagship model a small head start before the main sale window opens. The Galaxy M56 and Galaxy M17, however, only receive their promotional pricing when the sale officially starts on 8 May.
