Huawei has broadened its wearable push beyond China with the international arrival of the Watch Fit 5 and Watch Fit 5 Pro. The move gives the company a fresh opening in the smartwatch market, while an aggressive launch package is designed to make the new models harder to ignore.
The two watches are now available through the Huawei Store, following their earlier debut in the domestic market last month. That timing places the launch squarely in Huawei’s wider effort to strengthen its position with global buyers who are looking for fitness-focused wearables at different price levels.
Pricing sets the tone
Among the new arrivals, the clearest distinction comes from price. The Huawei Watch Fit 5 is listed at £159.99, while the Watch Fit 5 Pro sits higher at £249.99.
That gap gives Huawei room to target two different kinds of buyers without changing the core identity of the line. The standard model aims at a more accessible audience, while the Pro version pushes the same family into a more premium bracket.
Launch bundles add immediate value
Huawei is not relying on hardware alone to drive early sales. Until 21 June, buyers of either Watch Fit 5 model receive a £30 discount coupon, a free strap, and a Huawei Scale 3.
The company is also pairing the launch with the Watch Fit 5 Multipass, which offers up to three months of free premium subscription access for selected fitness and sports apps. The included apps are Huawei Health+, Komoot, and Urunn.
That approach suggests Huawei is trying to make the purchase feel broader than a simple watch transaction. For users who care about exercise tracking and daily health routines, the extras give the new lineup more immediate practical value.
A wider wearable lineup for the UK
The Watch Fit 5 launch is not Huawei’s only recent move in the UK. The company has also brought in the Watch GT Runner 2 – Racing Legend Edition, priced at £349.99.
This model gives Huawei another option for users who want something different from the Watch Fit series. Its positioning broadens the company’s wearable portfolio and adds a more specific choice for runners.
Premium positioning remains part of the strategy
At the top end, Huawei has also introduced the Watch Ultimate Design Spring Edition. It carries a far more exclusive price tag of £3,499.
Huawei says the watch uses 99 natural diamonds and diamond-cut crystal sapphire. The company presents it as a piece of wrist-worn art and as a celebration of strength and vitality for women.
That contrast is striking when placed alongside the Watch Fit 5 family. One side of the lineup is built for a wider mainstream audience, while the other is clearly aimed at luxury buyers with highly specific tastes.
A wide span from entry to ultra-premium
Taken together, Huawei’s latest wearable rollout stretches from £159.99 to £3,499. The range shows how the company is trying to cover multiple segments at once, from fitness-oriented everyday users to buyers seeking highly exclusive designs.
For consumers in the UK and other international markets, the key takeaway is simple: Huawei is now pushing a fuller wearable lineup outside China, backed by launch bonuses, service bundles, and premium accessories. That combination makes the Watch Fit 5 launch more than just a product release, because it also serves as a broader sales push across Huawei’s wearable ecosystem.
