Vivo X300 Ultra Box Leak Points To Rs 1,99,999 Super-Premium Pricing Ahead Of India Launch

Vivo’s upcoming X300 Ultra is drawing attention for more than just its camera hardware. A retail box leak has put its pricing in the spotlight, and the number printed on the packaging pushes the phone firmly into super-premium territory.

The label shared by tipster Sanju Chowdhary on X shows Rs 1,99,999, a figure that even places it above the 1TB variant of the iPhone 17 Pro Max. That number may not be the final selling price, though, since Indian retail launches often separate the box label from the actual market price.

Price expectations remain uncertain

A separate pricing expectation suggests the Vivo X300 Ultra could arrive at Rs 1,59,999 at retail. That figure is also said to exclude the camera kit, which will be sold separately.

This approach keeps the Ultra branding aligned with Vivo’s photography-first identity. For context, the Zeiss teleconverter kit for the Vivo X300 Pro is priced at Rs 20,999, so the accessory for the X300 Ultra is expected to land around Rs 30,000.

Launch timing is close

The leak surfaced only days before the phone’s official India debut. Vivo is scheduled to introduce the X300 Ultra on 6 May 2026 alongside the Vivo X300 FE.

That timing makes the retail box leak especially notable, because it offers an early look at how aggressively Vivo may position its top-end flagship in the market. The price discussion is now one of the biggest talking points around the launch.

What the box reveals about the device

The packaging also points to the handset’s identity and size. It lists model number V2562 and dimensions of 162.9 x 76.8 x 8.4mm.

Those measurements make the X300 Ultra slightly shorter and thinner than the Vivo X200 Ultra, which measures 163.1 x 76.8 x 8.7mm. The difference is small, but it suggests Vivo is keeping the phone large while trimming the body a little.

Reports tied to the same tipster also indicate that the India version will closely match the China model. That would keep the X300 Ultra positioned as a camera-focused flagship with high-end display and performance hardware.

Premium display and flagship chipset

On the front, the phone is said to feature a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. That combination points to a high-end panel built for smooth visuals across gaming, streaming, and everyday use.

Performance is expected to come from the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. If that holds, the X300 Ultra will sit at the very top of Android flagship competition.

Camera system remains the main attraction

The strongest focus still appears to be photography. The rear camera setup is said to include a 200MP LYT 901 main sensor with an f/1.9 aperture, a 200MP Samsung HP0 10x periscope camera with an f/2.67 aperture, and a 50MP Sony LYT818 ultrawide camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

For selfies, the device is tipped to use a 50MP front camera. Vivo has also confirmed that horizon-level stabilisation will return on this model, helping keep video steady on the horizontal axis during motion-heavy recording.

Battery, charging, and durability

The X300 Ultra is also expected to carry a 6,600mAh battery. Charging support is said to include 100W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging.

Durability may also stay strong, with the phone tipped to retain IP68/IP69 certification. Its weight is listed at around 237 grams, which fits a device that combines a large battery with a complex camera system.
