Vivo is positioning the X300 Ultra as more than another premium phone in Indonesia. The device is built around a serious imaging focus, with Zeiss-tuned optics, advanced video tools, and optional accessories that push it closer to a compact pro camera than a conventional flagship.
That positioning comes with a matching price tag. The top configuration reaches Rp 29.999.000, while Vivo also offers a lower storage variant at Rp 25.999.000, both sold through Vivo Official Store and official partners starting 12 May.
Two versions, plus a camera-style accessory bundle
The Indonesian lineup is simple: 16 GB/512 GB and 16 GB/1 TB. Vivo also sells the Vivo Zeiss Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra and Vivo Imaging Grip Kit separately for Rp 5.999.000, giving buyers a more specialized setup for longer shooting sessions and a steadier handgrip.
During the initial sales period, Vivo is adding purchase bonuses in the form of Vivo Care benefits. These include a 12-month screen warranty, extended warranty coverage, free pick-up and delivery service for repairs, and bank cashback of up to Rp 3 million.
A triple-camera system built with Zeiss
The main selling point of the X300 Ultra is its Triple Prime Lenses system developed with Zeiss. Vivo uses three focal lengths here: 14mm, 35mm, and 85mm, each paired with a large sensor, optical stabilization, and Zeiss optics to keep output consistent across different shooting situations.
The ultra-wide camera uses a 50 MP Sony LYTIA sensor with a 1/1.28-inch size. It also supports CIPA 6.0 stabilization and records 4K 120 fps video.
The 35mm camera relies on a 200 MP Sony LYTIA-901 sensor sized at 1/1.12 inches and supports 12-bit HDR. Vivo says this lens is aimed at street photography and portrait work with high detail.
The 85mm APO telephoto camera also carries a 200 MP sensor, this time at 1/1.4 inches, and uses gimbal-like OIS with CIPA 7.0 stabilization. It includes a 60 fps AF Tracking Snapshot mode for real-time autofocus tracking on fast-moving subjects such as sports and wildlife.
Video tools aimed at creators
Vivo is also treating the X300 Ultra as a video-first device. The phone supports Multi-Focal 4K 120 fps High-Spec Video, which allows high-quality slow-motion recording across the full focal range, from ultra-wide to telephoto.
It also includes Dolby Vision Video, 10-bit Log Video, and LUT support for more advanced color grading. The new Pro Video Mode gives users manual control over exposure, focus, color tone, and audio parameters directly from the phone.
For audio capture, Vivo adds Quad-Mic Audio Recording Master with six voice presets. The company says the setup is meant to deliver cleaner, more controlled sound for content production.
Flagship hardware and a display built for visual work
Under the hood, the X300 Ultra uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with the Pro Imaging Chip VS1+. Vivo claims the extra chip can speed up photo processing by up to 20%.
To maintain stability during long video sessions or demanding gaming, the phone uses a large Liquid Cooling Vapor Chamber. Power comes from a 6,600 mAh battery with 100W FlashCharge and 40W Wireless FlashCharge.
The display is a 6.82-inch LTPO 2K 144Hz Zeiss Master Color Display. Vivo says it supports Ultra XDR and high brightness levels, with an emphasis on accurate preview and editing for visual content.
Design, durability, and ecosystem support
The phone arrives in Film Green and Shutter Black. Vivo gives it a classic split design, red ring accents, and a knurled texture on the rear module to echo the feel of professional camera gear.
For durability, the X300 Ultra carries IP68 and IP69 certification for water and dust resistance. On the software side, it runs OriginOS 6 and connects with Apple devices such as Mac, iPad, and AirPods through Quick Share, Office Kit, and Shake & Share.
Vivo also promises 5 years of Android updates and 7 years of security updates. For users who want a more camera-like experience, the Zeiss Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra can reach a 400mm equivalent focal length, or up to 17x optical zoom, with digital zoom claimed up to 350x.
The Imaging Grip Kit adds a camera-style grip and a built-in 2,300 mAh battery, making the X300 Ultra easier to handle during longer shoots and video recording sessions.
