Vivo has positioned the X300 Ultra as more than a premium smartphone launch in Indonesia. The company is framing the device as a serious tool for creators who need stronger photo and video performance, not just a flagship with a polished design.
That positioning was made clear when vivo Indonesia officially introduced the X300 Ultra in Jakarta on Monday, 11 May 2026. In a market where top-tier phones compete on design and prestige, Vivo is leaning on Zeiss-branded imaging, advanced video controls, and high-end hardware to appeal to professional users.
Built for creators who want more than volume
Vivo Indonesia PR Director Arga Simanjuntak said the X300 Ultra is aimed at users who want to level up their work, not simply look the part. He noted that creators, professionals, and travelers are no longer focused only on producing more content, but on making content that feels more alive, cinematic, and memorable.
That message sits at the center of the phone’s launch strategy. Instead of presenting the X300 Ultra as a general-purpose flagship, Vivo is targeting users whose work depends on image quality, color accuracy, and flexible control during shooting.
Zeiss optics and pro-grade video tools take the lead
The camera system is the main attraction here. The vivo X300 Ultra uses Zeiss Triple Prime Lenses, paired with Multi-Focal 4K 120 fps High-Spec Video for detailed recording with smooth motion.
Vivo also includes an all-new Pro Video Mode, giving users full manual control while filming. That feature is meant to make production work more adaptable, especially when different visual styles or shooting conditions call for more precise adjustments.
On the back, the device carries a 50MP ultra-wide camera, a 200MP Zeiss Documentary Camera as the main camera, and a 200MP telephoto camera. The telephoto unit is supported by standard CIPA 7.0 stabilization to help keep shots steady.
To improve light capture and overall imaging performance, Vivo uses Sony LYTIA-901 and LYTIA-818 sensors. The company says this combination is intended to help each lens handle detail better across a range of shooting conditions.
Performance hardware supports image processing
Under the hood, the X300 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Vivo pairs it with the Pro Imaging Chip VS1+ to speed up visual processing.
The company claims this hardware combination can improve image processing speed by up to 20 percent compared with the previous generation. That matters for users who handle heavier photo and video workflows and need the device to keep up with demanding production tasks.
Display and battery are built for extended use
The phone features a 6.82-inch LTPO 2K ZEISS Master Color Display. Vivo says the panel is designed to support color accuracy, which is especially useful during photo and video editing.
Power comes from a BlueVolt 6600mAh battery with 100W FlashCharge support. The setup is intended to give users longer use between charges while reducing the time needed to refill the battery.
Price, storage options, and availability
Sales are scheduled to begin on 12 May 2026 through official channels. Vivo is offering two storage variants: 16GB/512GB priced at Rp25,999,000 and 16GB/1TB priced at Rp29,999,000.
The company is also selling the Extender & Grip Gen 2 Ultra Kit as a bundle for Rp5,999,000. Buyers can get the phone through the Vivo Official Store and authorized partners across Indonesia.
The device runs OriginOS 6 and is promised five years of system updates. With Zeiss imaging, high-end performance hardware, and creator-focused video tools, the vivo X300 Ultra arrives in Indonesia as one of the more distinct premium options for users who care most about content production.
