The realme C100 family arrives in Indonesia with three models that look related on paper but clearly serve different users in practice. The differences are not limited to small cosmetic touches, because display design, chipset choice, charging speed, durability ratings, and pricing all point to separate positions in the lineup.
That split makes the lineup easier to read once the details are placed side by side. realme C100i, C100x, and C100 may share a family name and a large-battery concept, but the way each model is equipped shows a very distinct target audience.
Three designs, three first impressions
At the most visible level, realme C100i is the simplest of the three. It uses a 6.8-inch LCD with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, plus a waterdrop notch on the front and a vertical capsule-style camera module at the back with an 8 MP main camera.
realme C100x keeps the same front design as C100i, but its rear side looks more appealing. The phone adds a 50 MP main camera and Pulse Light, an LED notification light on the camera module that flashes for calls or messages.
realme C100 feels like the most modern member of the group. It uses a punch hole display, an 8 MP front camera, brightness up to 1200 nits, and a rectangular camera module with a 50 MP main camera and Pulse Light.
Performance follows a clear ladder
The chipset arrangement also separates the three phones by class. realme C100i and C100x both run on the Unisoc T7250, while realme C100 moves up to the MediaTek Helio G92 Max.
Memory choices reinforce that gap. C100i comes in 4GB and 6GB RAM options with 128GB or 256GB storage, while C100x is only offered with 6GB RAM. realme C100 is the most flexible, with 6GB and 8GB RAM variants and 128GB or 256GB storage.
That makes C100i the more basic option for everyday use, C100x a more appealing choice for users who care more about camera quality, and C100 the strongest fit for heavier multitasking. The 8GB RAM option on C100 also gives more breathing room for light gaming and more demanding daily use.
Battery and charging are not identical either
Power backup is another major divider. realme C100i carries a 7,000 mAh battery with 15W charging and also supports reverse wired charging for powering other devices through a cable.
realme C100x and C100 both step up to an 8,000 mAh battery, which is 1,000 mAh larger than C100i. Both phones also support 45W fast charging and reverse wired charging, making them more suitable for users who want quicker refills.
Only realme C100 gets bypass charging. This feature sends power directly to the system during gaming while charging, helping reduce heat and slow battery wear.
Durability is where the gap becomes most obvious
All three models have passed MIL-STD-810H testing, which indicates resistance to drops, vibration, and extreme temperatures. Even so, the level of protection against dust and water is not the same across the trio.
realme C100i and C100x both carry IP64 certification. That means both are resistant to dust and water splashes, and both still include a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
realme C100 goes much further with IP69 Pro. The protection level covers dust resistance, high-pressure water jets, heat resistance, and even immersion up to 6 meters.
The trade-off is that C100 does not include a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Audio therefore relies on USB-C or Bluetooth, but the stronger body protection makes it the most rugged option in the lineup.
Pricing confirms the intended audience
The pricing structure in Indonesia also makes the positioning easy to understand. realme C100i starts at Rp2.400.000 for the 4/128GB version, while the 4/256GB model is priced at Rp2.700.000 and the 6/128GB variant at Rp2.900.000.
realme C100x sits higher, with the 6/128GB model priced at Rp3.300.000 and the 6/256GB model at Rp3.700.000. realme C100 is priced at Rp3.700.000 for 6/128GB and Rp4.300.000 for 8/256GB.
Seen together, the lineup is aimed at very different priorities. C100i fits students, older users, and lighter daily needs, while C100x is more attractive for buyers who want a better camera. C100 is the most complete package for users who need stronger performance, a bigger battery, faster charging, and tougher protection.
