ASUS is pushing its 2026 laptop lineup around a clear message: local AI processing now matters just as much as thin design and speed. That direction is most visible in its new Copilot+ PC range, which combines premium hardware with on-device AI features meant to work without relying fully on the internet.
The company is placing Zenbook DUO 2026, Zenbook S14 and S16 OLED, and the Vivobook series at the center of that strategy. ASUS says the new lineup is built for modern productivity, with next-generation processors and Neural Processing Units reaching up to 50 TOPS to make AI tasks run more smoothly on the device itself.
Zenbook DUO 2026 takes the spotlight
The standout model in the lineup is the ASUS Zenbook DUO (UX8407AA). In its 2026 version, the gap between the two displays has been reduced by 70%, while the bezels are also thinner than on the previous generation.
ASUS also uses Ceraluminum™ for the chassis. The company says the material is three times stronger and 30% lighter than conventional metal, a combination that supports portability without sacrificing durability.
Pre-orders for the Zenbook DUO (UX8407AA) opened on 6 May 2026 through the ASUS Official Online Store. That timing places it among the most notable launches in ASUS’ latest portfolio.
Thin premium machines for mobile professionals
For users who want a lighter and more refined device, ASUS is offering the Zenbook S14 (UX5406AA) and Zenbook S16 (UM5606GA). Both models have a chassis thickness of just 1.1 cm and also use Ceraluminum™ for a design that remains light while resisting physical scratches.
The two laptops come with ASUS Lumina OLED 3K 120Hz displays. The Zenbook S14 includes four internal speakers, while the Zenbook S16 increases that to six speakers for a more immersive audio experience.
ASUS also includes ASUS Premium Services with this series. The added support underlines that the Zenbook S line is not only about slim styling, but also about stronger after-sales backing.
Local AI is the key software message
On the software side, ASUS introduces Omni Virtual Assistant as its local AI solution. The feature is designed to improve privacy and speed by allowing direct interaction on the device without an internet connection.
This on-device approach keeps processing local, which helps strengthen data security. ASUS also points to support from Series 3 Intel® Core™ Ultra processors and AMD Ryzen™ AI 400 series to power that experience efficiently.
More options for daily work and creative use
Beyond the premium Zenbook models, ASUS is also targeting everyday mobility and flexible use. The Zenbook 14 OLED (UM3406GA) arrives with an eco-elegant design and a weight of only 1.2 kg, plus a 75Wh battery that is claimed to last more than 20 hours.
The Vivobook S14 (S3407AA / M3407GA) serves as another option for daily productivity. It uses a dual metal chassis with a thickness of 1.59 cm and is also said to deliver more than 20 hours of battery life.
For creators and students, the Vivobook 14 Flip OLED (TP3407AA) adds a 360-degree hinge and a convertible design. It can be used in stand, tent, and tablet modes, and it supports ASUS Pen 3.0 for more responsive input.
That model also carries a 14-inch 2K ASUS OLED NanoEdge touchscreen. The display is positioned to deliver the color accuracy and sharpness needed for creative work and learning tasks.
Support package completes the lineup
ASUS is pairing the devices with a broader protection package. The coverage includes a 3-Year International Warranty, 3-Year ASUS VIP Perfect Warranty, and ASUS Premium Service.
The service package also includes two-way pickup and delivery, professional device cleaning through Laptop Spa, and FastLane Priority Handling for faster repair queues. With local AI, 50 TOPS NPU support, OLED screens, premium materials, and expanded after-sales service, ASUS is framing its 2026 laptops as tools for work that demands speed, security, and flexibility.
