OnePlus has added a new entry to the Nord lineup with a clear priority: endurance. The Nord CE 6 Lite arrives in India with a 7,000mAh battery and Dimensity 7400 Apex, two specs that immediately define the phone’s identity in the midrange segment.

That combination gives the device a straightforward appeal for everyday users who want long battery life without giving up modern connectivity and a high-refresh display. It also fills a gap in OnePlus’ Nord range, since there was no direct predecessor for this Lite model.

A display built for smooth daily use

The Nord CE 6 Lite uses a 6.72-inch LCD panel with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. OnePlus also lists a 240Hz touch sampling rate, which should make the screen feel responsive during navigation and casual gaming.

Brightness is another part of the package. OnePlus says the display can reach 800 nits, with 1,000 nits in HBM mode, helping the phone stay usable in brighter outdoor conditions.

Dimensity 7400 Apex handles the core workload

Inside the phone sits the Dimensity 7400 Apex, an octa-core chipset built around four Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.6GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores. OnePlus pairs it with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

That setup places the Nord CE 6 Lite in a familiar midrange position. It is aimed at balancing efficiency, storage flexibility, and enough power for routine multitasking.

Battery life takes center stage

The biggest headline feature is the 7,000mAh battery. OnePlus backs it with 45W SuperVOOC fast charging, giving the phone a large capacity and a quicker top-up path than many devices in the same class.

This is where the Nord CE 6 Lite stands out most clearly. Large batteries are still uncommon in this price range, so the device’s endurance-focused approach becomes one of its most important selling points.

Software support and security

On the software side, the phone runs OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. OnePlus also promises five years of updates, which adds longer-term value for buyers who plan to keep the device for an extended period.

For biometrics, the phone uses a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. That choice fits well with the LCD panel and keeps unlocking quick and familiar for this segment.

A practical camera setup

The rear design continues a look similar to the Nord CE 4 Lite, with a vertical camera module that may appear to hold three lenses at first glance. In reality, the setup includes a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor.

Up front, the phone carries an 8MP selfie camera. The configuration suggests that OnePlus is positioning the device around overall balance and battery life rather than treating photography as the main attraction.

Connectivity, colors, and price

The Nord CE 6 Lite includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB 2.0 Type-C port. It comes in Vivid Mint and Hyper Black, with three memory options: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB.

Pricing in India starts at Rs 20,999 and goes up to Rs 25,999 for the top configuration. OnePlus also offers an additional Rs 2,000 discount for select bank credit card and EMI transactions, which lowers the effective starting price to Rs 18,999. The first sale is set for 12 May 2026 at 12 PM, and the phone will be sold exclusively through Amazon and the official OnePlus India website.
