OnePlus Pad Go 2 is shaping up as a tablet that tries to cover work, study, and entertainment without pushing buyers into a premium price tier. Its appeal comes from a large display, a big battery, and a set of productivity features that make it feel practical for everyday use.
A display built for long sessions
The tablet uses a 12.1-inch panel with a 2.8K resolution, and OnePlus pairs it with Dolby Vision support and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. That combination should make scrolling smoother, app switching easier, and document handling more comfortable on a larger canvas.
Its 7:5 aspect ratio also gives more vertical space, which helps when reading news, reviewing work files, or using split-screen modes. The screen is rated at a peak brightness of 900 nits in HBM, which improves readability in brighter outdoor conditions.
Performance aimed at daily efficiency
Inside, OnePlus uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra built on a 4nm process. The chipset is positioned for daily tasks such as video calls, streaming, online classes, and light editing rather than heavy flagship workloads.
The tablet comes with 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. OnePlus also says the device is certified by TUV SUD for stable performance over 48 months, which strengthens its position as a long-term everyday device.
Battery life remains the biggest draw
The main headline feature is the 10,050 mAh battery. OnePlus claims it can deliver up to 15 hours of video playback and remain on standby for as long as 60 days.
When the battery runs low, 33W SuperVOOC charging is included to reduce waiting time. The tablet also supports 6.5W reverse charging, which lets it top up accessories such as earbuds, a smartwatch, or even a phone when needed.
Productivity tools come standard
OnePlus Pad Go 2 runs OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16, and the software includes a set of built-in AI tools. These features include AI Writer, AI Recorder, AI Summary, AI Translation, and AI Editor.
The tools are designed to help with writing, transcription, content summaries, real-time translation, and photo editing. Open Canvas is also included to make multitasking more organized by allowing several apps to stay visible in one layout.
Slim body, stronger audio, wider flexibility
Despite the large screen, the tablet stays relatively compact with a thickness of 6.8 mm and a weight of 597 grams. The flat design and matte finish are meant to improve comfort in hand while adding a more premium feel.
Audio is handled by four stereo speakers, which should make the device more appealing for entertainment and media consumption. The tablet is also offered in WiFi and 5G variants, with the 5G model becoming OnePlus’ first tablet with a SIM slot.
Pricing and long-term support
The WiFi version starts at around Rp4.9 million for the 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage configuration. The 5G model comes with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, giving users a more mobile-ready option.
OnePlus also provides three years of software updates, adding another layer of value for buyers looking for a tablet that can stay relevant for longer.
